Quit avoiding me

Hinata was on his way to his
class when he saw her.
"HINATA" She stomped toward
him.

Hinata shrunk as much
as he could and began to walk
away from her.
"HINATA SHOYO" Her booming
voice echoed throughout the hallway.
Hinata let out a shriek
that  could've been heard
from world's away.
She grabbed him by the collar,
not caring that others around them
were staring.

"Youre coming with me. Now"
His face paled, he could've sworn
that he saw steam coming out of
the girls ears.
She dragged him outside
of the school and took him
behind the builidng.

Hinatas back hit the wall,
"What about class?"
"To hell with class! You're not
passing anyway!"
"Ouch" He muttered and looked
away.

"What the hell is your problem huh?
Why are you both ignoring me?"
Though her voice had softened at
the end, it was clear that she was
beyond furious.
"You both ditched me at lunch!
And neither of you will answer my
calls or texts! Hell, you just tried
running away from me!"
She looked at the ground,
"Did i do something wrong?"

"N-no, no you didnt!"
Hinata frantically waved his
hands around.
"Kageyama just doesn't know
what to do with you right now.
And he said not to talk to you
because he thinks I'll say the wrong
thing. Like I'd ever do some crap
like that" He rolled his eyes.

"Doesnt know what to do
with me? What the hell are you
talking about?" If she was being
honest, what Hinata just told her
felt like a thousand knives to
the heart and it was
obvious too.
The expression she wore was
painful to look at. It was an
expression you couldn't miss.

He paced around and bit his nails,
"DAMN IT. I did say the wrong thing!
He's gonna yell- no- he won't
set to me anymore. Damn it
what do I do!?!"

"Hinata" She whispered, staring
at her feet.
"Why can't he deal with me?
What did I do wrong?"

Hinata stopped pacing and
stared at her.
"You mean, you don't know?"
Her eye twitched.

"Of course i dont know! You both
left me out for 2 weeks!
I was in the dark! What could I
have possibly done!?"

Hinata tapped on his chin,
"Give me a minute, I'm trying
not to say the wrong thing."
Her patience was running thin.
His eyes lit up and he clapped
his hands in excitement.

"Kageyama freaked because
apparently you confessed to him
over the phone and passed out
afterward. He doesn't know
what to do.
Or more like, he doesn't know
how to face you"

She laughed in disbelief,
"No i didnt, i never said that."
Hinata blinked at her,
"You mean you don't remember?"
She pressed her hands on
her warm cheeks,
"No of course not. I don't
remember anything I say before
I fall asleep. Honestly, that's
my weak point. I'm the most honest
when I'm tired"

Then it hit, her bottom lip wobbled,
"Wait, he's avoiding me because I
confessed? Is that my answer?"
She clenched her fists and bored
holes into the ground.
"Damn it"
A sob ripped from the bottom of
her chest,
"DAMN IT"

"O-oh no! I said the wrong thing
again." Hinata went to wrap
the crying girl in his arms.
Her tears wet his neck, but it was
the least of his worries.
This time, he really said the wrong
thing.

This situation was like a mountain
packed to the brim with snow. And
Hinata was the one, meesly
snowball that created the avalanche.
He made a damn mess.

She misunderstood what
he was trying to say but only
because he didnt say it right.

He tapped on her back,
"Um... Y/n... can you
please stop crying"
She pinched his arm and he winced,
"Leave me alone, I just got my
heart broken"

"No, don't cry anymore because
that's not what I meant." His voice
was soft and honest.
"What do you mean?" She took her
face out of the crook of his neck and
wiped away her tears.

"You've gotta talk to him.
It isn't my place.
Plus, if I spill the beans, he'd
yell at me" Hinata smiled,
"I'll help you corner him, STAY HERE"
And with that, he ran off.
