Orion Pax Part 1 (2)

Megatron's perspective

              I walk into his station. "Orion, how far is project Iacon?" I ask. He answers "I am a bit rusty i fear. I've only managed to decode 3 entries." I ask "And what do these 3 entries comprise?" Orion replies "They were logged by autobot archivists during the war. After I entered stasis. My only knowledge of their contents so far, is that they are coordinates targeting locations on this very planet." A map of the globe pops up and Orion continues "I surmise that they could indicate hiding places for vessels, shuttled from Cybertron, for safekeeping."

              I say "Such as historical documents, or cultural artifacts?" Orion responds "My greatest fear would be weapons of mass destruction, hidden away for later use." I add "All the more reason it is essential that we do everything in our power to keep said vessels from autobot reach." I step closer and place my servo on his shoulder. "We are fortunate to have you on our side, Orion Pax." I remove my hand and get ready to leave, to check on ShiverTooth once more. I'm stopped before I reach the door "Lord Megatron, I am puzzled by one particular finding. I have discovered several historic references to Starscream as your second-in-command." He brings him up on the screen. "Yet the only mech I seem to find with this look is ShiverTooth. Did he changed his designation?" I turn and say "ShiverTooth is the younger brother, and sadly Commander Starscream is dead." I then turn on my heel and leave.

           I went to my seeker's room to find him curled up on his berth. His blanket covered the lower half of his body. ShiverTooth's frame was still contracting and expanding as a normal sign of life, but he just laid motionless otherwise. I leave the room. "What was I expecting. He's been unconscious ever since that dark energon filled battle.... why would he be awake today?"

Soundwave's perspective

                I was at the bridge, working on my normal tasks when Megatron walked in, his shoulders slightly slumped. "Orion asked many questions. A valuable trait in an archivist, but not in a decepticon. It is a matter of time before he unravels our fabrications and his innate sense of right or wrong rises to the surface. I only hope that Orion will complete project Iacon, before I am forced to destroy him, once and for all."

                 He was straight forward on that. I then display on my screen an image of ShiverTooth. He looks down "I appreciate your concern for him. Truly, I do, but I am quite scared that he may not make it. I put him through too much. He stepped in the way of Optimus and I, he fell down thinking it was the dark energon, then he goes to fight unicronians, stayed on the dangerous mission even though I wanted to send him back, and then follows us through to Unicron himself. Primus knows what he did to ShiverTooth."

             I walk over and place my servo over my liege's spark. It takes him awhile to see what I meant, "You're right. All I can do is hope. I nod and step away from him to resume my duties.
