Rebellion (3) Keep A Friend Close But Your Enemy Closer

"Go! Leave. You saved me, so what? I'm still a decepticon." I say to him. He stays quiet. I growl "Did you not hear me? GO!!" He states "It is only us, you may drop the act." I ask "What act? I'm a decepticon! I am an enemy to you!!" He shakes his helm "Not in my eyes...." I roll my optics and scoff "So you think I'm a good guy?" He replies "You were..... before Breakdown—-" "DO NOT DARE SPEAK OF HIM!!!" I snap, a tear rolling down my cheek. I retract one gun and wipe my eye. "Don't talk about him...." I say calmly. He goes on "Death is a natural thing-" "They were my best friends!!! Now I know that Skyquake put me on edge a bit but after Breakdown, and then Hardshell, and then Dreadwing!! You may not have killed Dreadwing or Breakdown but I have rivals who did. 2 are locked up and the other is my own damn leader!! And he's still trying to be my friend over it!!"

               "If you despise Megatron that much then join us and help end this war as I have offered to Dreadwing and his twin." The mech asks. Wait a second, that sounds like something Optimus would say.... I respond "Hating my kind is not the same as accepting yours." He was astound. I cock a ridge and he declares "Dreadwing has said similar words when giving us The Forge." I was shocked. I look away, lowering my guns. "Fantastic, I'm even sounding like him." I heard him start to walk over and saw his hand reaching out to me but I retract a gun and grab his massive wrist. With my eyes still turned away, I say "Do not touch me."

                   I then look to his chassis, debating looking into his eyes "I didn't get your name...." I state. He declares "You know exactly who I am." I look up to see his face. I blush and exhale, covering my mouth and looking away. He chuckles softly "That's a different reaction." I whine "I wasn't expecting you to look like that... I assumed it was a new autobot." He turns me towards him and softly takes my arms in his massive servos. He leans down and pleads "You may despise autobots and you may dislike your leader. You may even hate me, but you've lost so much. I don't want me to be the one you lose as well...."

            I think about it and nod, my expression lightening. He smiles a bit and I see that my reflection has red eyes. I push away "Oh, Frag no!" I growl. Prime laughs and turns me back towards him "That's a good thing." I felt everything come back to me, my friendship with the autobots, my kind spark and words to the vehicons, everything. I lightly smile and he brings his head closer to me. I bring mine back and ask "What are you doing?" He pulls back "I-I thought we were having a moment." I shrug "I-I guess we are." He smiles once again and connects our dermas for the first time in forever. I close my eyes, giving into him. When we pull away, I pout at him and say "Don't tell the Decepticons." "Don't tell my team." He replies.

           I laugh a bit and then get a com "ShiverTooth!! ShiverTooth!! Commander, please respond!!" It was a vehicon. I heard another voice further off "He went down with Darkmount. I saw it happen and I couldn't save him in time...." Starscream...... the vehicon tries again but this time I answer "Yes, yes! I'm here! What is it?" I heard a loud commotion of cheering in the com. It was a bunch of vehicons and eradicons. I could make out a few sighs of relief followed by someone lightly crying. Shockwave's voice came "are you crying?" My liege's voice replies to him "No! Im not!!" I ended the com and say "I've got to go back." Prime nods "Remember our promise." I nod "I will! I won't tell anyone!!" I then transform and fly off, leaving Optimus to fly off in his own direction.

Darkmount may have fallen, but I did get my emotions and a close friend back....
