*Jess's POV*

"Go get Rick." Daryl told me, keeping his crossbow up and looking forward.

I didn't argue. I ran down the stairs to the bottom floor where Rick was with Glenn. "Rick...Glenn." I yelled. "Rick." Rick ran out from the back apartment.

"What..is everything okay? Where's Daryl?" Rick panicky started asking questions. Glenn appeared beside him, his eyes wide.

I didn't know what to tell Rick, I wasn't quite sure what was going on. "I think there's someone in the apartment up there." I explained.

Rick calmed down. "You think?"

"All I know is we found trip wire and I'm pretty sure I herd a gun cock, but Daryl didn't tell me. He said come find you." I said slightly irritated because Rick didn't seem to care.

Rick nodded his head and pulled out his gun. I turned and started to run back upstairs with Rick and Glenn following. I ran to the back apartment to Daryl who hadn't moved, his crossbow still up. Rick walked up to the door beside Daryl and pushed the door open the rest of the way, holding up his python.

"Don't move." An unfamiliar, nervous voice blurted out.

Rick took a step foeward, disobeying the mans orders. "I serious." The man pointed his gun at Rick. "Whoa, come on know one has to get shot." Rick said while putting his hands in the air, still holding his gun.

The man said nothing. I took a step forward so I was beside Daryl and sticking out from behind Rick. Glenn stayed in the back. "What do you guys want..?" The man went from Rick to pointing his gun at me.

"Hey now." Rick pointed his gun at the man. "You best be puttin' that gun down." Daryl gruffly said from beside me, taking a step forward.

I was surprised when both of the men stood up for me. It made me smile on the inside, in a way I felt protected.

"Just leave." He kept his gun up but moved it to Daryl. "Better not be pointing that thing at me." Daryl stepped past Rick getting closer to the man.

His eyes became wide and a look of terror covered his face, but he wasn't looking at Daryl... He was looking at me. He dropped his gun and fell to his knees crying.

Rick and Daryl, confused looked back to me. For a moment I saw his face in my head, the same look of terror, like I've seen him before. "You know him?" The question brought me back. I looked to Rick who had asked the question. "I..I don't know." I tried remembering, but its like my mind didn't want me to.

*Rick's POV*

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry." The guy was laying on the floor crying. He tried calmig himself, he took a deep breath and sat up, wiping his tears.

"Hey, hey easy." I pointed my gun at him. He put his hands up to show he surrendered. He slowly stood up, still holdig his hands above his head. "You guys got a group?"

I glanced at the gun my his feet then back to his face. He got the hint and kicked the gun in my direction. "I..I got tons of supplies...food."

My eyes widened, we needed food. I looked back at Daryl who also looked unsure but knew we needed the food and supplies.

I bent down and picked up the gun then i walked back to where Daryl was standing. I nudged my head to the door so we could talk. "Glenn watch the guy, were gonna talk." I walked past Glenn and stopped by Jess. "I need to talk to you to." She nodded her head and followed.

When me, Jess, and Daryl were in the hallway, I broke the silence. "What do you guys think?"

"Seems unstable." Daryl responded. "What about you?" I asked Jess. "The more supplies the better, right?" She looked unsure.
