*Jess's POV*

"Daryl?" Me and Rick say confused at the same time.

"Yeah, Daryl is Merle's brother," Morales explains to us.

We arrive at the camp and everyone gets out to greet their family and friends. Me, Travis, Stephanie, and Rick stay there in the truck awkwardly, not knowing what to do. "How'd you guys get out anyway?" I heard a man ask.

"New people," Morales told him. "New people?" Another man asks. "Yeah. Hey..come meet everyone," Morales shouts to us.

We inch our way out into the open. A mans eyes widen, he was also wearing a police uniform. Then I hear a little boy yell, "Dad!" When the boy runs into Rick's arms it make my eyes fill to the brim with happy tears. A woman isn't far behind, she immediately wraps her arms round his neck. Glenn walks up to us and motions for us to come meet everyone. "Hi, im Shane," the other man in a police uniform greets me.

"Hi, I'm Jess," I answer. He put his hand out for me to shake.

*Travis's POV"

I hate the way that Shane guy is eyeing Jess. I clench my fist and hold back my anger. Naturally, I would have hit the guy, but Jess asked me to try to get to know this group, so I was going to try. And I'm sure hitting him wouldn't be a good first impression.

Next he walks up to Stephanie and puts his hand out. She excepts and tells him her name. Next, he walks up to me. "I'm Shane," he said also puting his hand out for me to shake. I ignored his hand.  "Travis," I glare at him. He must have picked up on it because he stalks back over to to Jess, putting an arm around her. This time I don't hold it back. I stomp in front of them but I am stopped when Jess mouths,"It's fine."

*Stephanie's POV*

I walk up to the little boy and the woman standing by Rick. "I'm Stephanie," I smile at the little boy.

"I'm Carl," he beams. Then he gives me a hug, "Thank you for helping save my dad," he smiles at me again. "Of course," I reply. I stand and get pulled into another hug, but this one being from Rick's wife, Lori.

"It wasn't really me though," I tell them. "It was mainly Jess and Glenn."

"Do you know where your friend Jess is?" She asks me. "I'd also like to thank her."

"Uh, I think she's over there with Shane," I point in their direction. "Okay, thanks."

*Jess's POV*

I just get done meeting everyone, when I turn around I'm greeted by a woman with dark brown hair, tall and pretty. "Hi. I'm Lori, Ricks wife."

"I'm Jess," I tell her. I put my hand out but she pushes it away and pulls me into a hug instead. "Thank you so much for bringing my husband back." Her smile was big enough to show she actually meant what she was saying.

When Lori had said 'my husband' I heard Shane stomp away angrily. I didn't really know why but its probably not any of my business, I'm just glad he left, he gives me the creeps.

It was later that night and we were all sitting around the fire. No one was really talking until Ed put an extra log in the fire. That's when Shane got and started an argument with him, as if to show his leadership.

"Hey Rick," I said. "Yeah?" He questions. "Do you know the sleeping arrangements?"

"Yeah, there are three tents available. Theres Andrea and Amy's, T-dogs, and...Daryl's."
