the “arrow cave”

Artemis woke up the following morning and stretched in her small cot in the “arrow cave” since she hadn't bought an apartment yet, she guessed she should do that soon enough since she had enough money from her job and just was in rehab for heroing again.

She got up, continuing to be silent so she didn't wake up Oliver. She then remembered that he was sharing an apartment with his sister in Starling it self. Artemis then yawned loudly and went to stretch her back by hanging upside down on the handle bars. The blonde launched her self up and went upside down, she hung up there for a while, thinking to her self.

Artemis thought about a lot of stuff while she was up there. She thought about the boy on the cover of the magazine yesterday, Dick Grayson, ‘Prince of Gotham’ one of the youngest and richest heir to a company the size of Wayne Interprises. It was interesting two, they looked so alike, yet he was adopted. Artemis stopped her train of thought, why was she thinking about two people she had never met. 

She shrugged to her self before jumping off and landing onto the ground, from there she started to warm up for training, the female archer went to the punching dummies. Before she hit the first one, she got an idea and set up her iPod to the speakers of verdant and worked out to that, going up to the main area in Verdant, she expected to see either Roy or Oliver first but no, it was Diggle. Artemis paused the music quickly, noticing the sleeping Sara Diggle in his arms.

“Hey Artemis, do you know if Felicity is coming down here today?” he asked raising his eye brow. Artemis shook her head, her eyes still on the baby “No she had to help Palmer with something today, she wont come back in until Friday”

John groaned “oh no, Lila and i have to go on a mission in Southern Africa, i told her that felicity could watch Sara..” he said getting out his phone to try and find a babysitter 

“erm, Diggle, i could watch Sara for you? I am still off the field until tomorrow and today i will just be here and going in for a collage for an hour at the cafe, i could take care of her, i mean i get it if you don’t want me to” she shrugged but John looked at her “Hm, sure, i have to go now, everything you need is in these three bags, remember she’s thirteen months right now so she can walk, right now she's sleeping so here you go” he said handing Sara to Artemis. The girl smiled down at the sleeping baby.

“See you in a few days, and listen, Artemis, thank you” he smiled to her as he started to leave 

Thats when Oliver walked in, “oh no, diggle, no no” he said seeing the baby in Artemis’s arms and went after Diggle “good luck Oliver” John said taking off in his car. Oliver came in literally glaring at the small baby in Artemis’s arms. He sighed, starting to get over the baby who was going to be with them for a couple days.

“I guess you'll be taking care of it, so..” he said grabbing the babies bag and going down stairs to the arrow cave, Artemis behind him.
