Chapter 14

Tigress and Robin then ran along the floor going to the furthest room where there stood three soldiers but these had bats and one with a gun, they charged the two young heroes and the two fought back, taking down the first two easily with the cure then the last one shot at them and Dick barely got his head out of the way of the bullet.

"Well that made me not feel the aster right now" he chuckled under his breath and looked over at artemis who had shaken her head in frustration that he was almost killed with a tiny bullet to the head that would've ended his life faster than a falling bolder, sure its an out-of-the-box idea but hey, its Artemis.

The two went into the board room and looked around "Olivers office" Artemis whispered under her breath "come on through here" she said and they entered the room and sure enough there was the entire board of chair, and a couple other  representers for invenstor companies. But no Oliver or Bruce. 

From there Artemis led him down the hall to the office for Felicity Smoak where finally they found the following: Bruce Wayne tied to a chair beside Oliver Queen who was knocked out, and Felicity Smoak who had her head down, and Travis Lautney. Artemis stood back as Bruce looked to her, his eyes were unfocused and hazy in a way, showing Tigress that he had been drugged.

Thats when Robin walked in also, Bruce's eyes widened and he jerked against his ties on his wrists as he tried to talk but all of his words were slurred. Robin on the other hand showed no interest or relation with the billionaire and kept his eyes on Mr. Lautney who was shirtless, with only dress pants and shoes, meaning he had probably snuck into the meeting and showed up towards the end then took siege of the building its self.

Felicity also looked up and in her blue eyes you could see grief and fright as she connected vision and eyes with Artemis under the mask, she mouthed for help, thats when Artemis looked at Travis.

"Let them go Lautney or i wont have to hurt you" Artemis said getting out her cross bow and aimed it at him with the cure and shot it but he smashed it between his hands thats when Robin screamed and fell to the ground, knocked out cold not moving bare ly and didn't get up. Artemis gasped and looked at him worriedly hoping he was okay but he didn't get up and the man that hit him on the back to make him pass out shoved Artemis to the wall making her drop her cross bow and watch Travis grab Robin off the floor and shove him against another chair stripping him of his utility belt and gloves.

He laughed "Do you really think im in charge of this all? Did you really think i was dumb enough to lead an army of uncontrollable monsters to ruin this city? well you were damn wrong princess" Travis said taking Artemis's head and lifting her up in front of them.

"No! let go of her" Felicity screamed, tears going down her face, she didn't know what to do, Artemis could die at any moment but she didn't know what to do at this point so she decided to scream and yell for help maybe something would happen then.

"Bitch, shut up" he said duck tapping her mouth as they got her out of the chains and throwing her to the ground "Get your hands off her." Oliver said clenching his teeth and jaw tightly.

"Make me pretty boy" he said grabbing her and shoving her into a closet "i dont want her seeing some of the richest men int he world die" he laughed cruelly "including Dick Grayson, isn't that right Bruce wayne...oh right you're not with us for a while" he said and Artemis panicked for Dick she didn't want him to die, he couldn't die, thats not fair.
