Chapter 5

the “Arrow Cave”

Artemis came down the stairs the next morning and looked around noticing the basement was completely empty of any side that the team had been there at all. Shrugging Artemis removed her jacket and went over to her bow and grabbing a few arrows and putting them in a small quiver and slipping it up on her back then walking over to the handle bars on the and pulled her self up on them and sat up there for a while before going back and hanging upside down.

From her perch she got out an arrow and put it into the bow and aimed at a target that was a couple hundred feet away and shot it from where she hung, it hit the middle of course and she did it a few times before she got bored and decided to get down. As she started to get down Oliver and Felicity came in.

“Oliver I'm telling you, he wanted me to accompany him to coordinates that he found on old old old Queen Consolidated, probably put there by your father” the IT girl said putting down her purse on the table.

“Okay so you two are going tomorrow correct? So i will follow, tracking your phone and ill get there before you do and ill move whatever it is away so he cant dig deeper” Oliver said looking at Felicity. “Sounds like a plan” she responded smiling timidly.

“Ehem!” Artemis said jumping down from her beam and landing gracefully onto the cement floor “If you don’t mind me interrupting your little staring contest of love, Roy said that he had some information about the person who killed those two men last night”

“Oh really? well i hope he gets here soon, because i need to do some papers for work…” Felicity said biting her lip and sitting in her chair by her computer and looking at the screens while she gathered some last minute information on last nights killer. she then saw roy on the security cameras “Oh, guys, Roy’s coming” 

Roy came down the stairs, all three of the others looked at him, their eyes expecting him to say something, anything. 

“Are you wanting me to say something about what happened because personally, it was quite shocking to my self actually” he said and sighed but for some reason Oliver wasn't paying much attention but it was grabbed by an alert for a bank robbery down town, just the plan to get the Arrow as busy as possible so he didn't pay attention to the big plan in order.

“um Oliver?” Roy said but Artemis rolled her eyes and motioned him over to her, he came over and sat down in the chair a next to where she stood “So what did you see” she asked looking at the pair of ‘Archer and his girl’ as he started to speak.

“the girl…she was mysterious and i don’t know what it was about her, that made her familiar but dangerous, thats what i don’t understand, the character on her mask was like designs to make a smiling face of a cat it was like-“ “Cheshire” Artemis said her eyes narrowing in anger.

“You know her?” Roy asked looking at the blonde as she walked over to her gear “she’s my sister” she said to Roy then slipped on her mask “If my sister is the killer, she did it for a reason, meaning that he is not too far behind, or he is behind all of this… but thats just a suspicion, Roy, you and i are going out patrolling, and they cant know what we are doing until I'm absolutely sure that he's behind it” Artemis said then grabbed her bow and quiver.
