(Week Before the Holiday Break)

"Can you please?? I've seen how you work in the class and I really need the help!" He wines.

I might actually kill someone today, my lord. I've just finished potions class and I'm trying to make my way back to the Gryffindor common room but there's only one problem: there is this tiny Slytherin who's been pestering me since a week ago or something. Frankly, I can't tell what year he's in but I'm assuming he's a first year like me. That doesn't excuse the fact that he's annoying as all hell.

"Look, I've told you. I don't go around tutoring people. There is another Gryffindor- her name's Hermione Granger. She can help you, but I'm not going to." I say, hoping that he'll take that and leave me alone for the day. Sadly, that just seems to make him more determined.

"But! I've seen you work in that class and I already know you do extremely well, and that you're passing. Plus, I've already talked to Granger and we just couldn't get it to work. I'm begging you, please!" He cries.

I'm so happy there's no one else to see this.

"Ugh! Okay, you know what? It's obvious that you're going to be way too stubborn to get off my case. So, I'm going to give you one chance. Come find me after the break in the common room and we'll talk. Are you happy now?"

I can see the boy absolutely beam from this.

"I promise I won't let you down!" He confidently states.

"Okay..." I say, confused.

He turns around to run off to wherever he needs to be, but I stop him.

"Oi! What's your name, kid?"

"Oh! Oliver Mills, boss!" He exclaims.

Boss? Whatever. He's proven himself enough that he's absolutely random.

"Alright, Oliver Mills. We meet after break."
He nods his head excitedly before running off in the opposite direction.

I make my way to the common room. I take a route that I found that no one really goes through. I like it this way because there's not a lot of people and it's quiet. I make it about halfway there when I start hearing footsteps behind me. Then I hear a "Hey there, lil' lady. Ya lost?"

I turn around and find some random guy behind me. I have no clue what house he's in because he doesn't have his robes or his tie on. He does have mess, dirty blonde hair, though. His shirt's also undone at the top. It looks like he just woke up or something.

"No, I'm fine. Thanks." I say, turning to leave.

Before I could take a step, the guy plops his arm over my shoulders and leans his face in way too close for comfort.

"Ya sure? I could walk ya to ya's class, keep ya company?" He suggests.

God, his breath smells terrible. Did he get his hands on firewhiskey or something? I duck out of his grasp and start speed walking away, clutching my bag. I'm trying not to get killed or something, thank you.

I don't make it very far when the guy pulls my wrist, trying to force me to him. I can hear my bag crash on the floor, but I'm sending death glares at the guy.

"Let go of me."

"What's the rush, hun? Why not spend some time with me?" He pulls my arm closer to him, while he takes another step towards me. He's got my wrist in a death grip.

I'm about to kick him where it'll hurt the most when I see someone's fist land on the dude's face. This sends him straight to the wall, releasing my wrist. I look to find that it was Fred who landed the blow.

"Fred?! What-" I start.
"You alright, love?" He asks.

"What? I'm fine, but what are you doing here?"
"I take this way sometimes when I need a shortcut and I needed to grab something I left. Good thing I forgot the bloody thing. Who knows what this wanker would have done." I says. I can see he's pissed. He's trying pretty hard not to show it, though.

Without saying anything else, Fred grabs my wrist and drags me away. I barely have time to register that George is also here. He doesn't say anything, just grabs my bag. The creep is sitting against the wall, all dazed. Clearly he wasn't expecting that. Then again, I wasn't either.

Fred drags me all the way to the lab, not saying a word. We get inside and I'm very tired of being dragged. I pull my wrist from his grasp and see the anger more visible, with something else too.

"What was that?" I ask.

"Why were you walking all alone? You do realize something could have happened to you, right? What if I wasn't there?"

"I would've been fine! I could've handled him myself. Why in the world are you so pissed??"
He opens his mouth but doesn't say anything. Then he looks confused. I can tell there's some kind of inner battle going on in his mind.
After a few seconds he says, "It's nothing. I'm walking you to the common room, and you aren't allowed to disagree." He says, and walks out the room.

"What??" I say to myself, and finally grab my bag and run after him.

What's with him???
