"Man, this sucks." I huff.

"You can say that again," says Jay with his head on the desk.

Draco scoffs, "This is all Wells' fault."

Neville scrunches his eyes and gives an unwelcome stare to Draco.

"Shut up, Malfoy. You're the one who went and blurted."

I bang my head against the desk. It makes a louder thud than I intend, but I'm thankful. It grabs everyone's attention.

Jay chuckles and lifts his head, "You okay over there Vyla?"

I groan in misery. Draco pats me sympathetically on the back.

"I could give two shits about your psyche Malfoy, but while we're here. How is it that you've only managed to have sympathy for Vyla?" Jay asks.

Mickey and Neville seem to perk up at the question. I stay silent, intrigued by the question. Draco looks back at Jay and sneers, "What are you on about now?"

"Well, Malfoy, based on what I do know about you. The only person you ever show empathy or sympathy towards is Vyla. Why?"

"Why wouldn't I? She's my friend! And the only other respectable Pureblood here."

"How rude." Mickey rolls his eyes.

"Quiet, children," Snape warns.

We bust our voices down to a whisper. I still don't say anything, and even without my input, the conversation continues.

"I meant- never mind. I'm not over-analyzing your brain today." Jay puts his head back down on the desk.

Draco sighs, bonking his head down on the desk beside me. I hear him let go of a shudder. Dammit, Jay...

Even a guy like Draco has limits too.

I sigh, and Micey takes note of my body language.

"Something is bugging you, Vyla."

"No. I'm fine."

I sit up and check my watch. Almost time for us to go. Butt Mickey decides to keep pushing. I'm already pretty fed up with a few things from today's mail. But if this keeps going I might blow a top or something.

"You know, it isn't healthy to try and bury emotions. You can talk to me."

"I'm FINE." I insist.

"But your aura says you're not."

I hear Snape dismiss us, and stand up.

"Trust me, Mickey."

"Are you sure?"

I slam my book down on the desk before picking it back up.

"I told you I'm fine!! Just lay off would ya'??!"

I huff a breath, and turn on my heels, bidding none of them goodbye. I simply storm out of the room and head back to the Slytherin Common room. Dammit, all.

I sigh frustrated, holding a letter from my mother in my hands. I sit on the couch in the common room. I shiver in the chill of the room. It's usually cold in here, but today's chill is particularly freezing. I just hope that Draco's not gonna tail me in here and corner me for an answer. Like normal.
