Part 41 - Jay's POV

(Great Hall)(Jay's PoV)

((The day after Holiday Break))

Jay's creeping up behind Vyla and Valentine, mostly to- to- Well that doesn't matter. He hasn't seen them in two weeks, it's hug time bitches.

"Vyla! Valentine!" They're so close together that he manages to jump onto both of them.

"Ack!" Vyla gasps as she's dragged into the tight embrace.

"Holy-" Valentine yelps, almost falling.

Jay belly laughs before checking to make sure they're okay.

"GUYS- YOU. WILL. NOT. BELIEVE. WHAT. I. FOUND." He's all giddy and wont stop moving.

Vyla smirks, intrigued by Jay and his bouncy-aura.

"And what did you find?" She asks.

"I swear if you almost get us killed again." Valentine huffs.

Jay giggles, "Oh trust me it's worth it." He pulls them in closer and looks around to make sure no one can hear.

"Sadie and I were digging around, as we do, and we found something." He pauses for dramatic affect.

"I'm not very sure of my safety still..." Vlya mumbles.

Jay rolls his eyes, "We found the Mirror of Erised."

"Erased?? Please tell me I heard that wrong and people aren't getting erased."

"No-- He said the Mirror of Erised." Vyla corrects, before turning to Jay,

"But I thought it was just a myth?"

"What is it?" Valentine asks, now very curious.

"You'll have to wait and find out." Jay answers smugly.

"Meet me by the Hufflepuff Common Room at midnight."

Vyla crosses her arms.

"Just us??

"Well yeah, you think I'm going to show the Mirror of Erised to just anyone?" Jay scoffs, "You two are, like, my best friends."

Vyla nodded in defeat, "Alright, good point."

"We'll be there!"

(Time Skip) (Midnight)

Jay hops down from the Hufflepuff hobbit hole, with his shoes in his hands, careful not to make a peep.

"Are you two there?" He whispers.

"Yeah. We're here." Vyla whispers from somewhere in the shadows.

"Yes, sir!" Valentine whispers-yells.

Jay quickly slips on his shoes then pulls out his wand. "Lumos." he whispers.

"Where are you?"

"Over here, dummy!" Vyla hisses, her voice coming from around the corner.

He makes his way over, finding Vyla and Valentine in their pajamas. "Nice adventure clothes."

"At least I'm comfy." Vyla sneered.
