"Tom? What are you doing here?" I say in shock.
"Well, I wanted to meet Sammy!"
"How did you know I was here?"

"Well it was a guess because it would be awkward if your parents were here, also this is the closest hospital."

"Damn, Tom you're a little stalker."
"What? No I'm not, I just used my head and thought what is the closest hospital?"
"I'm kidding, it is the closest to my house..."

"See, if you thought to yourself you'd know the answer, which you never do in class." He said to me, acting like my teacher, even though he is.
"You just had to bring up school in this moment?"
"Sorry, I've been waiting to call you out on that for ages."
"What? You hardly ask me questions anyway..." I say shutting him up which clearly means I'm correct.

"Excuse me sir, you're either in or out." The nurse said from behind."
"Sorry, I'm in." He said walking in.
He turned around and made eye contact, her eyes were already locked on his face so there was no difference from where she was looking.

"H-how is Sammy?" She stuttered.
"He's okay, I'm guessing he was tired and he's having a nap."
"Okay, um how are you?" She said looking over to Tom.

God she couldn't make it more obvious that she liked him.
"I'm okay miss, how are you?" He said back.
"Oh, huh I'm good. I'll check on Sammy soon." She said leaving. As the door closed I tutted.
"What are you tutting about?" He asked.
"That woman couldn't make it more obvious!"
"What are you on about Miss Evans?" He asked as if we were at school again.

"The nurse definitely likes you." I sitting in my chair.
"..."
"Well?"
"Well what miss?"
"Can you stop calling me miss, we're not at school anymore, and it's weird..."
"How is it weird?" He asks.
"It's like I don't know, you and me here kinda feels couple-y..."
"I'm not sure that's a reason for my question and couple-y is a real word?" He said grabbing a chair and pulling it close to me.

"Well in my dictionary it is?"
"Well you should teach me some of the words you've made up."
"Of course, but that's the only word I've ever made up in my life."

Time passed, Tom and I didn't speak much, Sammy woke up and was confused on who he was and I couldn't lie to him, so I told him he's my teacher, he's little so he didn't really care but if mum knew she would freak out thinking he's grooming me or something which I know he'd never do to me, because I trust him... kinda.
The time reached 4:30pm.
"Would you like to get going then?"
"Well, I need to drop the car off and get my bag..."
"Okay, let's get going." He said.
"Okay, bye sammy love you." I say giving him a hug and leaving.

We left the hospital and walked out to the car park. I got into the car and drove back home.

"Mum, I'm back, I just need my bag,"
"How's Sammy?" She asked completely ignoring what I said.
"He's okay, I need to get my bag." I said moving past her and going upstairs, luckily Ella was still out and her friends aren't here. I picked up everything and stuffed it all in my bag and then going downstairs.

I looked outside to see Tom's car waiting for me.
"Bye mum love you." I said before leaving the house. I walked to Tom's car and sat in the front seat beside him.
"You ready then?" He asked looking to me.
"Yeah, start the car before my mum gets nosey." I say putting my seatbelt on.
"Alright." He said starting it and pulling out of the parking space.
