The next day went mostly normal until lunch.
After luz got her food she went to go sit with her friends
As she got closer she noticed another girl sitting with them
It was the girl from the other day

Hey luz willow and Gus said together as she sat down

Luz this is amity willow said Gesturing to the girl next to her

Hey I remember you luz said extending her hand
I'm luz. Then to luzs surprise amity took it. Amity didn't look like the nicest person and she acted like she hated every one there. But they way she talk with the group made her seem pretty nice.

Later they all walk home together Luz then said bye to her friends and started to head to the small path but amity quickly caught her.

Meet me later she said handing her a small note. 
Then she ran off to join Gus and willow.
Luz just stood in confusion for a moment before taking note of the small piece of paper in her hand. She decided to open it when she got home so she slipped it into her pocket and continued her walk home. As soon as she got there she was immediately attacked by king
Luz I demand you take me to the playground and help me clam my thrown he said while standing on top of
Sure that'll be fun but it won't be for long I have to meet someone later
She said slowly standing up as he jumped off

Great let's go king said running out the door

King wait

He stopped looking back at luz

Let's go the fast way she said with a smile as feathers popped up on her arms.

They were soon at the playground as king stood at the top of the slide acting like her was the all mighty king of children luz continued to get distracted by all the shinny things and before she knew it she had to go meet amity.

Sorry king I have to go she said going back to her regular form

King gave her a smile and continued his game

Luz pulled out the folded up piece of paper and opened it.
It told her to go to the curse paintings booth in the shop. She found the booth and found amity there waiting

Hey luz shouted as she got closer

Hey? Amity said with confusion in her voice

So why did you want me to meet you

I wanted to talk to you but let's go somewhere more private first

The two girls walk for a bit and soon they were in an unfamiliar area
As she followed behind amity luz couldn't help but feel like she was being watched.
Eventually they came to a cliff with a beautiful view.

So why are we here luz asked

I wanted to talk to you about t-the feathers

What feathers luz said as she could feel the feathers coming up on her upper arm where they weren't quite visible yet

The ones that appeared on your arm when you ran into me yesterday

I did even know they were there luz said under her breath

How does it work

Um she wasn't sure if she should tell her the truth or lie and have it come back and bite her in the butt later
