Chapter four

Hey hey two chapters in a day sorry I'm board
The next day luz walked to school like normal
Once she got there she saw amity waiting by the stairs
But willow and Gus were nowhere to be seen. Luz walked up to the stairs and amity noticed her right away
Hey how are you feeling amity said  catching up to her on the stairs

Ok I guess luz replied

That's good I figured after last night you wouldn't come amity said quiet enough that others wouldn't hear their conversation

Luz smiled at the fact that amity was trying hard to keep anyone else from finding out

Sorry about that by the way luz said drifting her gaze down

Don't worry about it you got more cut up then I did plus yours were definitely worse amity said bringing her hand up to Luzs face and lightly touching the mark on her cheek
Luz flinched from the touch it hadn't hurt she just wasn't expecting it
I already had this one didn't you notice Luz said

At this point the girls were in the school so they decided to meet at the owl house later to talk In private
They met up with gus and willow who were once again dealing with bosha
But after that the rest of the school day went pretty normal
When they all walked home together amity went down the path with Luz
They went to the owl house and dropped of their bags and books then left again to go somewhere special as Luz put it.
After walking for a few minutes they made it to the tree house

Wow amity said in amazement
Did you build this

It was more of a summer project me eda and king did together when I was five

It's amazing how close you guys are
I've never met anyone that close with there- ..... parent figure?

Luz let out a small laugh at her confusion
It's true eda was her parent figure but all she knew was eda had found her on the street when she was a baby.

Parent figure works Luz said pulling down the ladder so they could climb up

Once at the top of the lader amity got a good look at what was inside

Even though everything looked used it was still pretty cool

You have azura books amity said walking over to her small collection of books

Well ya obviously Luz said sitting down on a bean bag

Amity sat on the other one soon after
Ok amity started making a lump form in Luzs throat
So your cursed and turn into a scary owl beast thing

Yes and until last night I've been able to control it

The conversation continued for hours
Amity continued to ask Luz question and Luz answered them truthfully but when it came to her past or how it happened she answered to the best of her ability's.
Eventually the rolls switched and it was Luz asking questions about amity. The topic changed again a few times after that but eventually amity got a text from her sister saying she had to come home.

I gotta go she said her smile fading

It's kinda dark I could give you a ride if you want Luz suggested

W-what amity blushed at the thought

No I didnt mean- ..... I just thought-
Luz sighed as she flopped back onto the bean bag her face just as red
Sorry she said her face buried in bag

Amity laughed a little
Don't apologize a ride would be nice

The two girls climbed down from the tree house
Luz turned into the beast and amity a bit hesitant climbed onto her back gripping onto the fur and feathers

It was a bit strange knowing that this was the thing that could have killed amity the night before but it was also comforting to know it was still just Luz
The cold wind hit amity's face as they flew and soon they landed near her house amity jumped off and Luz turned back

Sorry if that was weird Luz said scratching the back of her neck

The girls said goodbye and went there separate ways
Luz flew home and amity continued the walk up to her house

Once luz got back eda and king were both asleep already so she carefully walked up the stairs and shut her eyes door.
