Chapter nine

Two days later
The rain hadn't stopped
And the only one enjoy it was eda probably because she got to sleep all day

Luz was in the kitchen on a call with willow Gus and amity

So you can turn into a bird beast thing
Gus said
Am I the last on to find out

I haven't known for that long
Willow commented

Me and eda call it the owl beast
Luz continued

King then ran in screaming

Luz Luz

What's up king

Hootty said hes the strongest demon in the house
You need to provide him wrong

Willow Gus and amity started laughing

Why don't you get eda she's probably the strongest not me

But you actually have control and won't kill any of us
Plus eda said no

Luz rolled her eyes and looked back at the Crystal ball
I gotta go guys I'll talk to you later.

Bye Luz they all said before she hung up

So amity
Willow said smirking

Amity blushed
She knew what was coming next.

Beat him up Luz king yelled standing on the couch covered in pillows
They had moved all the furniture to the back wall so nothing would break

Luz was now in her owl beast form
Wrestling hootty feathers and fur flew everywhere. it went on for a while before luzs wing knocked some stuff off a shelf but no one noticed until Eda came down

What are you doing she yelled

All three of them froze and looked at her

It was her idea hooty shouted
Luz then shoved his face to the floor

Luz what's going on eda said

Just proving that hootys not the strongest demon in the house Luz said turning back and picking feathers out of her hair

Oh ya
Eda whispered to Luz

Yup
She said smiling

Ok then whos the strongest in the house

Me
Luz then realized what she said

Oh
Eda smirked

That's not what I- ..... I mean- Umm

Alright kid let's go outside

Luz felt a lump in her throat as she followed her mentor

The boiling rain hit the protection spell hard and eda explained what they were doing

The only rule is that you can't use the owl beast
Eda said

Fine then you can't use your staff
Luz said pointing at owlbert

Fine
Eda through her staff to the side

King was hiding behind the door which hooty personal didn't like

I'll let you start I know it's been a while since you've cast a really spell
Eda teased

Luz glared at the witch
Then quickly cast an ice spell that shot her onto the roof

Hey eda said looking up at her
Eda shot a blast of fire up at the girl
Luz pulled back dodging the blast
She looked back down and glared at eda once again

The battle continued for a long time but eventually eda knocked Luz off the roof

Eda walked over and knelt down by Luz
Are we done

Ow
Luz mumbled
She had landed on her back and got the wind knocked out of her

Eda helped her up
Come on let's go eat

After about twenty minutes everything was fine again.  Luz still hurt everywhere but it'll she had gone through worse

Three more days past before the rain finally stopped it was around 5:00 pm when it stopped.

Hey eda can I go visit amity tonight
Luz asked tuning into the kitchen.

As long as you don't get hurt or killed I don't care

Yaaay
Luz ran out and up the stairs

When I came time to leave she was way too excited

Ok you need to calm down before you go anywhere
Eda said stoping the girl who was halfway out the door.
Luz took a deep breath and calmed down the best she could
Better she asked still half way outside

Don't scare her Luz
Eda sighed before walking back into the kitchen
Luz slowly made her way down the path
She had tried to transform into the owl beast but it wasn't working for her ever sense she fought eda. While Luz walked she tried her best to transform but it was no use  once she got to the manner she had to figure out how to get up there.
After a bit she decided to try and climb the wall but that idea ended quickly.
Luz sighed and started walking back home before she felt something hard hit the back of her head
Ow
She rubbed the back of her head and turned around
She saw amity sitting at her window giving her the look of
What the heck are you doing

Luz mouthed the word sorry to her and shrugged
Amity rolled her eyes then pointed to the fake flower on her desk
Luz looked up at her confused and shrugged again
What was she trying to say.
Amity smacked her self in the head and walked back into her room.
Luz thought for a minute
Flower
Flowers
Plants
Ooooooh

Amity searched her room for something else but she stop when she heard the knock on her glass window
Why did that take you so long
She asked not turning around to look at the girl

Well you pointed at a plastic flower and expected me to get cast a magic plant to bring you up here from it

Well you could have used the owl beast like usual
Amity continued

I would have loved to do that but it's not working

WHAT

Idk it's just not working

Well what did you-
Amity someone's here for you
Emeras voice came from downstairs cutting amity off
I'm sending her up

Are you expecting anyone
Luz asked

No which means you should probably hide

Luz ducked down below the window outside and waited

The knock on amity's door came sooner then expected but amity answered it as quick as she could

Hey amity

Oh hi willow

Luz sat outside the window listening

Where's Luz?

W-why would Luz be here

Willow rolled her eyes and walked to the window
She looked down under the ledge

Hi Luz

Hi
Luz said in a nervous tone barely hold on

Wait how did you
Amity questioned

I saw her walking this way then I saw her hanging out your window as I passed by
She said pulling Luz in

Willow and Luz ended up spending the night and the next morning they both left out the window
