¦Chapter 8¦

Did (Y/n) regret ignoring her brother?
Of course not.
Rather, it was fun this time around because she could talk to Giyuu instead of the usual her trying her best not react to anything Hiro does back when it was just the two of them.
"Giyuu-nii-san, the house has been too loud lately, isn't it?"
(Y/n) asked Giyuu as the two of them sat on the couch in the living room, watching a TV show, while Hiro tried his best to make at least one of the two notice him, because for reasons he wasn't sure of, Giyuu is also ignoring him.
That, or this is just his usual self.
"There's a bug somewhere," he replied. His words weren't meant to be insulting though, not this time. He was accustomed to how much of a loudmouth Shinobu was and his reply was nothing out of the ordinary if it were with his friends.
But he is not with his friends, he is with his siblings.
"Bug!" she repeated, she glanced at the brother she is ignoring. He wore a look of pure shock on contrast to the look (Y/n) has as she tried her best not to laugh hysterically at that.
"Is it not?" Giyuu asked, unaware of what he just said. "A loud, annoying, and pesky bug."
"Sure, whatever you say, nii-san." She placed a hand over mouth, trying even harder to contain her fit of laughter. "And what do you propose we do about this bug?"
(Y/n) was sure her brother had a look on his face that told her not to ask that question without needing to look at him. Yet, she asked regardless.
"Throw it out."
Though the "bug" being referred to is actually Hiro, Giyuu thought about the pesky bug in his friend group, which would be Shinobu.
Unable to contain her laughter, she laughed hysterically as she looked at Hiro. Her brother looked like he was at a loss for words, and she couldn't blame him. Though Hiro remained shocked and dumbfounded, she knew he didn't take what Giyuu said to heart.
She hoped anyway.
"That's it! I'm contacting that Pomeranian to get here so we can get this nightmare of a project over with!" he loudly announced to everyone that was present in the living room—which would just be Giyuu and herself—before he stormed back to his room, slamming it shut.
"Good job nii-san!" she cheered, holding her hand up in the air, waiting for his. "Hiro-nii-san will contact the Pomeranian now!"
"Thanks?" Giyuu hesitantly high-fived his sister's hand, unsure of exactly what he contributed.

With Hiro's declaration of Sanemi coming over to their house to do the project, she slipped out of the house—she didn't know why exactly but she felt it would be too chaotic there with the Pomeranian around, and she didn't feel like seeing him.
She ended up back in the arcade, her total winnings in her bag and money in hand, she quickly turned it into tokens, eager to score a large amount of tickets like last time, if not more.
Though she was here to earn tickets, she wanted to spend a little time at the shooting game she did before since she found it neat.
That was a short lived thought, however, when she found somebody else there. She hard a hard time determining the person's gender because the body build looked that of a boy's but had the face of a girl. In the end, (Y/n) chose to trust her gut and say this person was a guy.
