Maddie
Any good news?.

I sighed heavily as I typed to reply her message.

I'm working on it, but my mom seemed a little reluctant about working with your family. Is there something I should know about?

I hit send and threw my phone on the bed, I removed my bath robe and changed into my blue pyjamas.
I looked at my phone but there was no reply from Maddie but it showed that she saw it.
I dropped my phone by my reading table and went to bed after putting the light out.

I wore my blazer as I ran down stairs with my backpack.
Abby was at the dining table eating,
" Good morning" I chirped.
" Joey these pancakes are lovely" Abby moaned as I looked at her plate of pancakes and syrup.

" I thought you didn't like Altagracia's pancakes you always said it was undone." I said as Abby stuffed some of it in my mouth and she wasn't lying when she said it tasted good.
" Good?"
I nodded.
" Alta didn't make it"

I snorted, " Mom hates cooking so who did?"

" Bob" Abby replied with a smug look on her face.
I could feel my rage building up.

" You little rat you know that I don't like Bob boxhead Armstrong and you made me eat his pancakes even if they taste so good in my mouth" I faked a sob as I reached for another one.

" Buenos Diaz"
That was Bob, he came out of the kitchen wearing a familiar brown robe.
I gasp dad's robe. I take deep breaths.
" You don't have to speak Spanish we understand English"
Bob looked at me and smiled. " Oh, those are one of the few phrases I know,"

Do I look like I am interested in having a conversation because I am wondering why he is smiling at me.
" Why are you in my father's robe?"
I ask and for some insane reason that I don't care to know about Abby giggled.
" Errr..... It's mine"

Abby laughed.
" So you actually packed for a sleepover"
I chuckled at what she said and this is one of the rare moment she says something helpful.
Bob scratched the back of his neck nervously.
I heard Persophone impatient honking.
" Bye"
I quickly grab a plate and filled it with pancakes and syrup on top before rushing out.

Percy groaned when I entered her car.
" I hope you are disposing that plate once you are done"

" Why would I do that, it is not a disposable plate"

" Except you want to take it with you to school because it isn't staying in my car and I don't want to see any crumbs in my car"

I gave her a look.
" I mean it"
Even with a mouthful of pancakes I manged to laugh.
" What is funny?"

I swallowed the pancakes.
" I know why you are extra grumpy"

" Joey never call a girl grumpy, it seems like the feature that fits an old man not a hottie like me"
Percy narrowed her eyes at me before looking back at the road.

" Sorry for calling you grumpy so let me correct my self I know why you are upset, it is because I would be getting my own car and by Monday you won't need to drive me to school again and you just realised how much you are going to miss me"

Percy scoffed, " instead of gloating lets just hope you pass your driving test today"

" Don't worry about that" I reply
As Percy parked in her usual parking spot.

I removed the seat belt around me and took my plate to the trash.
" Better" Percy said.
" Whatever" I said.
" Well excuse me, I have a party to plan" Percy walked out.

What party is she talking about?

Principal Creamer; Good morning great Tigers of Steve Austin Academy, ( chuckles ) My thoughts for today. If you have ever made someone feel stupid for being excited about something then you are the one of the worst people on this Earth.
