Chapter Five

Wedding day

Tris p.o.v

I wake up with a start and sit up trying to control my breathing. I put my hand on my chest and Christina wakes up. She tries to calm me down but I just can't breath.

"Get Four!" She yells at the girls and I still struggle to breathe. Someone runs through the door and my vision starts go black.

"Tris! Tris snap out of it. Tris I'm right here. Whatever you dreamed that's all it was. Please. Tris copy my breathes." He says frantically but my vision only gets darker and my breathing worse. "TRIS!" I hear him scream as my world goes black and I lose all feeling in my body.

Tobias p.o.v

I get called to Christina's room on my wedding day. I run to her door and burst in. I see Christina trying to calm Tris down. I sit down in front of her and hold her shoulders.

"Tris! Tris snap out if it. Tris I'm right here. Whatever you dreamed that's all it was. Please. Tris copy my breathes." I say searching her eyes. Her eyes start to close. She closes her eyes completely and stops breathing. "TRIS!" I scream and pick her up. I run to the infirmary and when they see me they rush over. I get rushed into a room and lay her down. The nurses hook machines up to Tris. I hold her hand and keep looking for signs of life from her. They try CPR but resort to using the shocking pads. Nine nurses and my friends had to drag me out of the room. I keep screaming for her and finally I hear it. The steady beeping of her heart monitor. I break free and run to her side.

"Tris, Tris you're okay. You're okay." I say in tears kissing her hand.

"Four she won't wake up for a while. She had a panic attack and this one took a lot of energy from her. When she wakes up she will be cured of them." the doctor says and walks out. I sit in the chair next to her and hold her cold hand. I blow on it and look at her.

"When you wake up we will get married. I promise that. Nothing will get in the way of it. We have waited so long for it to be here and when we finally get here it all goes wrong. I swear we have the worst luck. I love you Tris. So much." I say and kiss her forehead. I sit back down and lay my head on our entwined hands and fall asleep. I feel someone shake my shoulders and whisper in my ear. I open my eyes and see Tris laying there. I look up and see Zeke and Uriah.

"Four go home and get some sleep. We'll watch Tris." Zeke says and I shake my head and look at Tris.

"My home is where Tris is. Everything seems so dull without her right now. I can't leave." I say and wipe the tears from my eyes. Zeke pats my back and Uri does to then they leave. I look at the clock and realize is almost noon. I walk out the room and get to a phone.

"Christina, can you bring me some food?" I ask and she agrees. I walk back to Tris' room and see Zeke and Urine trying to choke her. I run up to both of them and try to push them off. I scream and yell then her heart stops. Uri drops me and I fall to the ground. I lay there on my back staring at the ceiling crying. They both leave and Christina walks in. She screams when she sees Tris laying there dead. I hear someone other than Christina gasp and I hear the heart monitor start again. I sit up and see Tris with her hand on her chest. I get up and run up to her. I grab her hand and kiss it. She finally calms down and Zeke and Uriah come back in. I shield Tris from them and when they come closer I punch them in the face. I walk back to Tris and kiss her.

"Tobais, why did you punch them?" She asks standing up.

"You died for two minutes because of them. They tried to kill you." I say and she hugs me. I burry my face in her brown hair and keep her close to my heart. I silently cry and pull her tighter. The police show up and take Uriah and Zeke away. The nurses come in and tell us we can leave. I help Tris get off the bed and she looks at me.
