Wings of Fire Reunion

Chapter 1

Moon soars through the Night Sky, looking at the little lights down below of a small town. She caught the breeze between her snout and ears and landed down on a small hut.

"Moon? Is that you?" Kinkajou ran to her, spreading her wings around her back.

"You grown so much!" Moon widened her eyes as she saw her best friend who grew taller.

"Well it has been a couple of years" Kinkajou laughed.

They both talked about Moon's explorations, Jade mountain, The dragon of destiny.

"How have you and Turtle been?" Moon asked.

"Well, we have been dating for a few years now" Kinkajou counted her talons. "Actually, about that.. how would you feel about seeing our winglet again?"

"Everyone?" She repeat whispery.

"You know you can't avoid them all the time" Kinkajou placed her talons gently on her best friend's.

"I know, I know, it's just going to be awkward!" Moon blushed of embarrassed and put her head on the table.

"Moon....I don't wanna stress you out" Kinkajou arched her eyebrows. "But both of them are still single, I'm not sure if they both have been waiting for you or they are just super lonely, especially Winter with his scavengers" she giggles at the last part but stopped when she saw Moon stressed face.

"Come on Moon!" She tried to cheering her up,
"I missed you so much, imagine them!"

"I mean I guess..." Moon nodded slowly.

"Really??! This is so great! I was thinking of renting a cabin! Like a vacation one? So we should have all the space we want! It's going to be so great" Kinkajou rammed on.

"You know I'm only doing it so I can see you and Turtle together" Moon grinned.

"Ha, ha, ha" Kinkajou laughed sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

"Tomorrow first thing in the morning, I'll send letters! By afternoon they should answer, so it will be done by then" Kinkajou clapped her hands happily.

Moon laughed nervously as her follower her.
