Wings of Fire Reunion

Chapter 6

Oh no

"Yeah..." Kinkajou awkwardly looked at Moon.

"Are you sure? Winter would never sleep in the same room as Qibli, freely..."

"Unfortunately I have to" Winter hissed.
"He choose to be with me" Qibli blinking innocently as he walked besides him.
"No I didn't you moron" Winter was about to smacked him in the head with his wing but Qibli ducked.

Moon giggled but their actions, they still acted like dragonets instead of grown dragons, which Moon found adorable. When she opened her eyes, both of them were staring at her, she guess they haven't heard her laugh in a while. Then both of them quickly looked away, flustered, and so did Moon.

"Uh, have room for one more?" Moon joked but both of there faced were a mix of surprise and embarrassment.

"Or I can sleep in the libra-"
"It's fine" Qibli warmly smiled.

"Can you guys wait here?" Moon asked but she ran behind them.

She came out with scrolls tucked under her wing.

"Haven't changed a bit have you?" Winter walked passed the library, knowing she was already done.

"I could say the same to you. You're still obsessed with scavengers, you still have the same 'prince position' and same 'get me out of here' face" Moon walked besides him and glanced at him happily.

"What is a 'Prince position' and what does my 'get me out of here' face look like?" Winter barked a laugh.

"The one were you walk dramatically" Moon stretched her legs more often as she walked, it looked like she was in slow motion even. She stretched her wings up but close together, and raised her hand up, making her look important.

"HA! Exactly!" Qibli laughed behind them, while Winter looked confused.

"I like it's highly attractive" Winter shock his head in disbelief.

"Then I should do this more often" Moon dramatic her walk even more. "And if it's so attractive, why don't I see your girlfriend?" She moved her head slowly to the left, mimicking his actions.

Before Winter could answer, Qibli popped next to Moon.

"I'm just saying, but that walk is highly addictive" he raised one of his eyes brows and  grinned while look down at her.

Moon must admit that he looked charming, she could feel her face warm a little bit but refused to lose to him.

"Mmmh" She mumbled. "Then you should try it..." she purred as she ran her tail up his neck until it was under his throat which send a shiver down Qibli's spine.

"Because I pity both of you!" Moon smacked Qibli's forearm since he looked like he was enjoying the attention.

"Ow" Qibli laughed but rubbed his arm.
"I'm actually perfectly fine by myself! It's Winter you should worry about"

"Sorry Winter. You were saying" Moon faced back at him innocently.

"That were already here" The IceWing jealousy speed walked into their room.

They entered the room which had to colorful two cushion beds on the opposite sides of the room.

"Okay then" Moon was about to walk to the library until Qibli grabbed her shoulder.

"Me and Winter well sleep in the same bed" Qibli lightly touched her talon.
"I will absolutely not!" Winter ruffed his wings with anger.

Moon scoffed, "Good luck with that"

Qibli shifted his wings, thinking.
"I'll be back, Winter, take care of her"

"I can take care of myself!" Moon yelled as he ran through the hallways.

"Would you actually sleep with him" She looked up at Winter.

"I would rather sleep in the desert" He wrinkled his snout as her.

Moon laughed "I thought so"

They awkwardly stood there.

"Winter...." Moon gently said as she looked up to meet his eyes.
"Can you tell me the reason why you're still.. alone?"

Winter inhaled sharply at the sight of her. "Why are you asking me that?" He moved his tail side to side in frustration.

"Because you're a really good guy.. and I want to see you happy with someone" Moon smiled sadly at him.

"I want to be with someone who liked the same things as me" He answered at he heard his heart beat louder.

"Scavengers?" Moon thought fiercely, thinking of everyone she meet.

"It's not just that" Winter gently brushed his wings with her cool ones.

"I know this sounds pushy... but what are you looking for in a dragon?" She awkwardly looked sideways at the floor.

Winter didn't answer, who was glaring down at her.

"Winter?" Moon asked again.

He sighed, frustrated.
"I-I don't know"
He absolutely hated this feeling. It was coming back! Again! It made his chest feel like it was dying to come up. Like his heart was beaming with happiness but was trying to handle itself from because too happy.

Winter pulled back his wings as he heard footsteps.

"Ugh! I need help!" Qibli said weakly.

Moon faced Qibli with all her attention, making Winter want to duck her head and face her saying I'm here.

Moon helped Qibli drag the extra bed to their room.

"Phew! Thank you!" Moon said excitedly as they placed the bed below a small Window.
Moon got on top of it and read some scrolls, when she was done she tried to get some of sleep but it was impossible! She heart was all nervous (and sorta excited) to sleep in the same room as the only two guys she liked in her life- (including her ex).

Moon looks over at both of them. They looked asleep. She got out of the room and walked outside.

She didn't want to get tangled in this mess, she liked both of them, but it was hard not to catch feelings again. Moon wiggled her wings and breathed deeply, trying to clear her head.

She walked in the forest until she saw a clear space, there was a soft looking rock with moonlight pouring above it. There was a river around it but she didn't might she could just jump over it.

Moon slowly got on the small rocks until she heard a voice "What are you doing?"
Moon lost her step and feel into the river.

Her eyesight all burly as she tried to swim above the water she was now in.
