Wings of Fire Reunion

Chapter 4

Moon gulped and turned around seeing the tall IceWing who was glaring down at her.

"Wow you changed a lot" Winter ducked his head to meet her eyes.

"So did you!" Moon said as she eyes traveled up and down at him.

"I have a much of questions! What are you doing? Are you studying scavengers??" Moon ran around him excitedly.

"Woah, woah, slow down, I didn't actually mean who you to run around me!" Winter chuckled who couldn't help but smile, since his heart was melting out of pure joy of seeing her.

Moon sighed and sat in front of him dramatically. "Now can you tell me?"

Qibli slowly slided next to Moon.
"You mean us?" He nudged Moon by the wing jokingly.

Winter tries his hardest not to drop his wings.
He's here? His mind growled irritated.
Well, duh, he answered his own question.
Moon came back ..of course he's here.

His jaw tightened as he saw Moon and Qibli laughing together. He wanted to look away but if he did, they would know that something is off about him.

He coughed to get back there attention. Both of them looked back at him.
"Erm, well I'm studying scavengers from far view" he rolled his eyes trying to sound like it's not a big deal.

"Off topic but are you with someone? Are you gonna be lonely forever?" Kinkajou popped behind him.

"I bet you get dragons to kiss your talons" Moon grinned as she leaned to Kinkajou, both of them snickering.

"I don't get it-"
"Winter, your very attractive! For crying out loud go outside!" Moon interrupted him.

Winter could feel his heart flutter. She find me attractive?

"Even Kinkajou is dating Turtle!" Moon grabbed her best friends head and shock her.

"What do you mean 'even'??" Kinkajou asked.

"Tsk, you know you're the youngest" She faced Winger again. "So you should really get out! Maybe you can be with an IceWing, but you can surely be with some else right?" She looked hopefully up at him.

Winter groaned. "I was never interested, and I never imagine myself with someone other then an IceWing..." expect you his mind whispered.

"That's a shame, Qibli's single too" Moon laughed.

"Oh really?" Winter raised his eyebrow, part of him wanted for Qibli to be with someone so he wouldn't be interested in Moon but it doesn't look like that would happen any time soon.

"I won't be for long" Qibli held up Moon's arm up and winked at her.

"Ha ha" Moon smacked him (gently) before he put his snout on her talon. "Keep dreaming"

"Oh, I will" Qibli said in a low voice and grinned at her.

"Come on" Moon rolled her eyes and flicked her tail.

As they walked Winter hit Qibli's head with his arm.

"Owwwww" Qibli said dramatically. "You're just jealous" he stuck out his tongue.

Winter scoffed. "You act like a mindless dragonet, you do know that?"

"YES!" He yelled as he catch up to Moon.

Kinkajou walked next to Turtle and Umber.

"Umber..... Umber!... UMBER!!" Turtle yelled.

"Mhn, uh sorry" Umber looked at his talons as they walked inside the straw hut.

"He's straight, remember that" Kinkajou laughed.

"I knowwwww, I knowwww" Umber whined like a dragonet. "But look at him!" He whispered.

"After years you still simp for him?" Peril ran across the floor.

"I would almost dump my boyfriend for him" Umber lowered his ears, guilty.
"Oh to be Moon..." Kinkajou and Umber said at the same time.

"You like Qibli too??" Turtle whined at her, filled with jealousy and sadness.

"What??!! No!" Kinkajou patted his head gently. "I'm talking about Winter" She grinned evilly.

"That's even worst!" He got out of her reach.

"You gotta admitted he is fine" okay.... that didn't seem to help Turtle calm down. "But It's not like I would date him.." she smiled warmly at him.

"I guess" Turtle mumbled.

"What about you?" Qibli asked Moon.

"What about me?" She blinked at him.

"Are you with someone?" He asked confidently, although shifted uncomfortably, knowing the fact that she might be with someone else.
