sirius doesn't know that regulus is still alive, and regulus doesn't know that sirius is in the house
i don't think either of them is ready for that confrontation
besides, it's taken regulus a whole decade to stop being so paranoid
if a wanted criminal is staying in his home, i doubt he'd be put at ease
also, sirius has spent the past, i dunno, fifteen years believing that his brother is dead
and that's a lot to dump on someone
especially after spending 12 years in prison
