Today was the day we are suppose to either hand in our paper or perform a skit and for the first time in a long time I was nervous, I asked brielle if she would help me perform my skit and she said yes.
I decided to do a skit about housing a fugitive.
I made bri wake up extra early so we could get to school early and practice, when we got to school surprisingly Mr. Moore was already in his class room.
"Good morning you two how are you doing he asked,
" Good morning Mr Moore do you mind if we come in here and practice my skit? I asked .
" No, not at all come on in, Brielle and I put our stuff down then we practiced until the bell rang.
" Mr Moore can brielle and I go first, " sure Andrew go ahead he said as everyone sat in their seats.
*skit *
Ding dong (the bell rang)
Bri: Who is it?
Drew: Just opened the door
*unlocks door and opens it slowly *
Bri: what are you doing here
Me : I got into some trouble and I need a place to stay.
Bri: And that's my problem how, I haven't seen you in god knows when and you expect me to just help you.
Me : Bri I'm sorry, just please let me come in so I can explain my situation.
* Let's him in*
Me : Bri, I was at a bar and this girl walked in , she was crying and had bruises all over her so I asked her what happened and then all of a sudden in walks this creature. He grabbed her and told her he didn't mind killing her right then and there, I tried talking to him but that quickly went left when he swung at me. I attempted to walk away but he followed me antagonizing me so I turned around and punched him causing his nose to break.
Bri: So you're wanted by the cops and you want me to help you hide, what do I get out of this?
Me : The pleasure of having me in your house
Bri: That's all you can come up with?
Me : I have No good reason why you should help me...
Bri: Bye then
Me : Starts walking away
Bri: Drew I'm going to help you against my better wishes don't make me regret it.
Me : I promise you won't
*A few hours later
Bri: Drew, Drew,Drew
No response, bri searched all over and couldn't find him but she did come across a note.
* note reads:
" Sorry for leaving so abruptly, I couldn't stand seeing you get hurt because of my actions (Thank you for listening )
Bri (monologue ) That's what I get for thinking he changed and actually grew up.

" That wasn't as tragic as I thought and bri is the real MVP she stepped out of her comfort zone and performed in front of the class and most importantly Mr Moore. The rest of the class period Mr Moore graded the skits and I got an 85 on my skit and bri got an 100 on her paper, her overachiever ass. All jokes aside I'm proud of the both of us.
"Bri let's do something after school, we never did get to go on a date.
" Where are we going?,
" Do you want to go see The boy next door bri?
"Sure ,but are we going straight to the movies or are we stopping at your house first?.
" We're gonna stop at the house first ,
" alright see you later bri said as she walked to her next class.
The rest of the day went by extremely slow but on the bright side it's Friday so I really can't complain. When it was time to go home there was an unusual amount of traffic it took us an hour to get back to the house, when we got there, there was an extra car in the drive way. I didn't think much of it until I opened the door and seen my mom talking to someone, it wasn't until I got closer that I realized that is was my dad. " Hey Andrew, Hey brielle my mom said smiling. I stayed quiet but bri engaged in conversation, " Hey Ms Carla how are you she said as she hugged her. " I'm fine brielle, I'd like you to meet Drew's father Aaron, " nice to meet you sir. "Likewise sweetie my father replied, " You aren't going to say Hi to your father Andrew my mom asked, I didn't even respond I just walked away and bri followed me. " Are you ok hun?, " Bri I haven't seen my father for years and he thinks he can waltz into mine and my mom's life and he expects me to welcome him with opened arms especially after he had abandoned my mom and I to start another family with someone else. " The worst thing about it is my mom is still madly in love with him and would do anything he asked her to, "Drew baby maybe he's realize what he did to the both of you and wants to make a mends. I didn't respond I just picked out an outfit and went to go take a shower. " Bri hurry up I said after I finished getting dressed ," Don't rush me she said as she opened the door and we went downstairs. " Where are you two going my mom asked just as we were going out the door, " The movies bri and I said in unison." Have fun you guys my mom said as my dad walked up behind her. "Thanks mom I said as I took bri's hand and walked out. " Baby I really think you should give your father a chance, " Against my better judgment I'd give him the benefit of the doubt I said as we made our way to the ticket booth. "Can we have two tickets for " the boy next door, " that'll be 10:00$. We paid for our tickets and snacks then we went in the theater and sat down. The movie lasted for two hours and surprisingly I thought it was interesting, I didn't want to go home quite yet so I decided to take bri out to eat , she wanted some sushi. Why I don't understand because that shit was nasty as hell but she was just eating it like it was the best thing since white bread, "Burgers are better, baby how can you eat that. " everyone has there preferences Drew and we both know that you don't want to go home yet so don't try to come at my food thank you very much. " I think I'm going to have a talk with him when we go back to my house, but I need you for support. " Drew I'm going to be by your side every step of the way, but you have to be sure of the decision you decide to make. After we finished talking and she finished eating her nasty ass sushi we went back to my house and when we got there my mom and dad were talking and he was telling her he needed a place to stay because he got into some trouble. My mom of course agreed and I couldn't take hearing anymore so I went upstairs and took a shower then bri walked into my room. " Babe are you OK she asked as she sat on my bed, " I can't believe my dad is trying to use my mom and she's letting him, I've never told anyone this before but my dad is the reason I got involved with Rj's crew in the first place. " What do you mean Drew?, " Bri the reason I got involved with his crew is because I thought that by joining the crew that would give me male guidance.
