As soon as I started driving my phone rang again and I didn't even have to look at the caller ID to know it was Evan,I just let it go to voicemail.
As soon as I got out of the car he started screaming at me asking me where I been
I didn't respond until we were in the house , " I went to see Chelsea
" What did you do
" We just talked that's it
" Bri if some shit happens I'm gonna be mad as hell
" Babe nothing gonna happen I promise
We talked for a little while longer then there was a knock at the door.
Evan went to get it and a few minutes later I heard what sounded like detectives so I made my way down the steps.
'' Excuse me ma'am is your name Brielle Bennet
"Yes sir it is
''Are you familiar with the name Chelsea McCleary
" Yes I am , she's been harassing my family and I nonstop since we went to her stables a few weeks ago.
" Is that why you went to her house to confront her about the harassment?
" Yes
'' So are you admitting that you went to her house to confront her then things escalated?
" Things got a little heated but I walked away
'' Is that before or after you hit her?
" I never touched her
'' She's in the hospital as we speak , how do you explain that?
As I was about to respond my phone started ringing, I checked the caller ID but it said restricted , I was tempted to send it to voicemail but something told me not too.
"Hello
" You really thought you could come to my house and threaten me , without there being any consequences.
'' What are you talking about?
" If I can't have a happy life with Evan neither will you, I already have detectives thinking that you attacked me , just wait until you see what's in store next.
I quickly put my phone on speaker so everyone could hear the conversation, the detectives took notes and once they got enough information from her due to me engaging in conversation with her they were on their way out of my house.
I honestly hope they do something before things escalate any farther because if they don't, I'll most definitely have a few charges.
