It's been three weeks since Drew got out of the hospital and I must say life is going great, I'm begining to think maybe what Rj said about him being guilty was true because I haven't seen him or the guys in his crew lately.
" Why are you smiling so hard ?Drew asked me as we walked to class,
" I'm just glad that it's been uneventful lately. He didn't say anything but I can tell by his expression that he had something on his mind, I tried my best to ignore the expression on his face but I couldn't.
" Why do you look like that?,
" Bri I'll tell you later he said just as his phone rang and he sent it to voicemail.
I looked at him and then sat down just as Mr Moore walked in ,
" Good Morning class today we're going to do an exercise called "would you ever" I'm going to give a couple of scenarios and you have to either write about it or act it out.
The first scenario I'm going to give you is: Your mom is sick and your only means of saving her is by getting involved in illegal activities to get some extra money.
The second scenario is: killing someone who poses as a threat to you or your loved ones and the last one is: Housing a fugitive for a year. keep in mind that what ever scenario you choose to write about or act out make sure your thoughts are clear you will be graded on your work.
" would you ever house a fugitive Andrew I asked, " No but I'd kill someone who posed as a threat and I'd engage in illegal activities if my mom was sick," what about you brielle?
" I don't know I said as the bell rang I packed up, just as I was about to leave Mr Moore said he'd be expecting a paper or a skit in two days.
The rest of the day went by fast and when we went back to the house Drew told me he had to do something and would be back,
" Drew please don't do anything stupid and be careful I love you.
"Bri I won't I promise he said before he kissed me then left.
I finished my homework then took a shower, when I got out I heard Ms Carla downstairs so I went downstairs to say Hi but when I got down there she was in her room on the phone so I went back upstairs into Drew's room and took a nap.
When I woke back up it was 11:30 I didn't see Drew so I went downstairs to see if he was talking to his mom but when I got downstairs there was a note on the fridge from Ms Carla saying she had to go back to work and there was food in the fridge if Drew or I got hungry.
I was in the middle of heating up some food when the door bell rang,
" who is it?
" It's Drew I unlocked the door and moved to the side so he could come inside.
"Bri,is my mom here,
" No why I said as I took my food out of the microwave.
" Before I tell you you gotta promise me you aren't going to get mad at me, just as I was about to respond we heard the door knob turning then Ms Carla walking in.
"I didnt expect you two to be up how are you guys doing .
" I'm fine how are you I said as I got up to hug her,
" I'm fine just tired I'm going to go take me a shower and get ready for bed I'll see you guys later she said as she went into her room.
I finished eating, washed the dishes out then I went upstairs to finish talking to Drew eventhough I really didn't want to, I stood in the door way for awhile then I eventually made my way over to his bed and sat down.
" Bri before I tell you what I have to tell you promise me you won't get mad,
" Drew you already said that can you just tell me what you have to tell me.
" Rj as well as his crew has been calling me from an unknown number and they've been threatening me saying I may have survived the car accident but that was just a warning and next time I won't be as lucky.
" I've never been the type to take being threatened well so I paid them alittle visit and now Rj is in the hospital along with some of his crew members.
" Drew you know that if your mom finds out she'd be heart broken! and as for me You fucking promised me you wouldn't do anything stupid and expect me to not be mad how Does that work?.
" Babe I'm tired of feeling like a dumb ass with them threatening me constantly and not doing anything about it.
" Drew you didn't even tell me you were receiving threatening phone calls, I could've tried to help.
" I know I should've told you but I didn't want to worry you,
" Drew I feel like you're trying to justify not telling me and that's not right.
" Babe I don't want you to be mad at me, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner.
" I forgive you Drew ,
" Do you really forgive me or are you just saying that?,
"Drew hun I really do forgive you I don't want to be mad at you anymore just please be more careful next time.
" I'll try he said with a smirk," I'm serious Drew seeing you hurt whether it's physical or emotionally it bothers me.
" Aww munchkin was that your way of tell me you love me,
" Everytime I try and have a serious moment with you, you turn it around making me laugh.
" Alright, aright I'm sorry for ruining your sentimental moment it will never happen again scout's honor he said as he put his left hand over his heart and raised his right hand up.
"I'm done talking to you Drew because it's clear you wanna be childish
