I'm doing good ,I was calling because I wanted to know if you'd like to go to breakfast with me?
"I would love to ,I actually was about to get dressed
"I'll be there in an hour
"Ok ma ,let me start getting ready because its gonna take awhile for me to get dressed
"Alright see you in an hour Bri she said before hanging up. When I got out of the shower I had only thirty minutes to get ready luckily I already plugged in my flat iron so that was the least of my worries.It took me 10 minutes to get dressed and 5 minutes to do my makeup and 10 minutes to straighten my hair and when I was on my way downstairs I heard the bell ring. " Just a second I said as I made my way to the door ," Hey swee mama L started to say but stopped when she saw my stomach." Ahh you're having a baby she squealed ,"yes ma'am I said as we made our way to her car." I'm having a girl," How many months are you and have you thought of any baby names?." I'm six months, no Evan and I can't agree on any names so we were thinking it'd be best if we waited until I have her."I could help with names if you like,"Sure I'd like that,"How about Amyleigh she asked as we pulled into IHOP." That's cute but its common , I want to name her something that has a uniqueness to it I said as we walled inside." I said as I looked at the menu," I guarantee my grand baby is gonna come out liking anything red velvet and you're gonna hate it after awhile."When I was pregnant with Evan I ate fried chicken nonstop and now I barely eat it but Evan loves it, "Excuse me are you guys ready to order?." Yes I'd like blueberry pancakes with scramble eggs and turkey bacon ," I'd like red velvet pancakes with scramble eggs and turkey bacon."What would you guys like to drink ,"Orange juice we said in unison and chuckled afterward.
"Ma have you spoken to Evan today I asked as the waiter brought us our food ,"Thank you we both said then began eating."No I haven't spoken to him ,"OK the reason I asked is because he wasn't home when I woke up this morning." I'm sure he'll be there when you get back home don't stress ,I wanted to go shopping after breakfast are ok with that?." Yes I said with a huge smile even though I knew she was hiding something and was using shopping as a decoy. After finishing our food and paying the bill we went to children's place and kids world to buy some extra baby clothes and nessesities."Bri I want to stop at Wilson's bakery then party city to get some decorations ," Ma what's going on I asked as we headed back to my house," I'm not telling you she said with a smirk. Ugh I have anxiety now when mama L found a parking spot I nearly flew out of the car ,"BRI you have to be more cautious being that you're pregnant. My main focus was to see what was going on and what Mama L was hiding but out of respect I said" you're absolutely right I'll be more careful. When I walked into the house all the lights was off and when I turned the light by the door on Evan screamed surprise followed by my dad and Jordyn oh joy. I plastered a fake smile on my face as Evan came closer to me , "Hey babe he said as he hugged me. "Hey ,can I talk to you I asked as I headed upstairs," Baby before you get upset just let me explain he started to say but I gave him a look like go back downstairs but best believe later we have to talk.
After a few minutes of trying to collect my thoughts I decided to go back downstairs, I walked into the kitchen to find my dad and mama L talking and lots of food. "Ma where's Evan I asked," He should be in the living room sweetie she said returning back to my dad. When I walked into the living room jordyn was practically on Evan's lap throwing herself at him touching on him and all ,I just stood there for awhile to see if he would push her away or go along with it. Lucky for him and her he got up and moved away from her,"I'm gonna go find brielle he said as he turned to exit the living room only to find me in the door way. I'm trying my hardest to remain calm but I'm slowly reaching my boiling point between Jordyn and Evan I don't know who is gonna set me over the edge and be the final straw to break the Camels back."What's wrong sweetie mama L asked when I walked back inside the kitchen ," I'm happy to see you guys but what's going on.Just as she was about to respond Evan walked in and I just wanted to slap him ," Elle can you sit down he asked as mama L got up and helped me sit."Why am I ..Ssh he said as he stood in front of me ,"I know I can be hard to deal with but I hope that overtime you help me to grow into the man I want our daughter to marry and our son to be ... I guess what I'm trying to say is Will you marry me?. I was at a loss for words and in a slight trance until I heard something break in the living room and I got up to see what had broken
"Ellie sit down and stay in here with mom while your dad and I go see what happened."How could you ask her to marry you when I finally got the nerve to tell you how I feel about you jordyn screamed, " Jordyn we are strictly landlord and tenant nothing more even though I've told you that on more than one occasion and you can't be breaking things in people's houses."Oh now we're strictly landlord and tenant but when I told you my boyfriend cheated on me you told me " You don't need him in your life I'm here for you anytime if you want to talk" but since your little girlfriend is around you wanna act different that's fucked up and you know it she said before slamming the door and leaving. I hadn't even realize I was crying until mama L came and hugged me," Sweetie I know you're upset but you have to calm down being stressed isn't good for you or the baby." Ma I told him she had feelings for him when we went to look at houses and he just laughed off."Have a talk with him and don't jump to conclusions or cut him off most importantly try to remain as calm as possible. " Thanks mama I said as I gave her a hug, "you're welcome honey I'm gonna go find your dad she said before leaving the kitchen.When she came back into kitchen my dad was with her and she told me they were leaving so I got up and gave them a hug and walked them out.When I came back inside Evan was sitting on the couch," Baby can we talk he asked but I just walked upstairs to my room and got some clothes to change into after my shower."
