Chapter 33

ALEX'S POV

This is a continuation of AJ's POV, so it is still the night of the battle.

Outside of the Coven...

"Everyone we'll come across a highway, so do your best and jump over the lanes. Remember your positions"I shouted so everyone can hear me.

"And remember to go on my cue. Use everything you've got tonight"AJ added.

"Can we go?"Michael asked as if he was getting impatient. I just realized he didn't have his shades on.

"Yup. CHARGE!!!"AJ said and ran ahead of me fast. I used my speed and caught up to her. There was a small cliff up ahead, and I jumped the lengthy distance to the other side. I checked behind me to make sure was everyone else okay, and it turned out everyone was doing great...for now.

After dodging a few boulders, and jumping over rivers we finally reached the highway. I looked at the heavily populated highway and decided to climb up the closest tree, and jump to the tree on the opposite side of the highway. It turned out I wasn't the only one that thought of this idea because I saw Abby, Alexis, and my mom do the same thing. We all made the humongous jump and AJ smirked.

I smiled at her. "You're fast" AJ thought.

"Yup... I learned from the best right"I thought as I dodged a deer. A few minutes later I saw a sign that said "Viva Las Vegas!!!! Welcome to Nevada!!!" I chuckled as I wished I was coming here for a different reason.

I barely caught it, and I almost fell as I saw AJ make a sharp right turn.

"Shit AJ"I said. I heard her chuckle and I shook my head. That's when she started jogging and stopped. That's when I saw everyone else behind me come to a stop as well. I looked to my right where AJ was, but she wasn't there. I suddenly became worried that she went inside alone. But that's when I felt her presence close to me and I felt a hand hold mine.

"I need everyone to be in stealth mode"she said said as she reappeared. I nodded, and told my mom who was next to me.

"Everyone needs to be in stealth mode for this. Pass the message"I said and she nodded. And before five seconds could pass the army of vampires that were before me had vanished as if they were never really here. I smiled and went into stealth mode myself.

AJ crossed the street, and so did I along with a few other vampires. I could see some vampires stay in the forest, while others climbed to the roof of the buildings. Some hid in alleys while some walked back and forth patrolling the area of other supernatural beings.

"Ready to go inside"AJ thought and I nodded. She pecked me on the lips.

"I love you"she said, with an undying affection, that warmed me the same way it did every time.

"I love you too"I replied. AJ smiled and gave me a wink before she entered the dark building.

There were no lights in the building, but that's when I saw a male peep patrolling the stairs case. I snuck up behind him and jabbed my sword through his chest. As he fell to his knees there were a few other peeps running down the stairs to see what happened.

"What the he-"another male peep said but before he could get his words out arrows were flying through the air into their chests killing them instantly. I was beyond impressed at this.

I looked behind me to see who shot the arrows, and I saw Sarah, Willie, and Sean with a bow and arrow ready to be shot.

There was noise coming from the dead Peep's walkie talkies."Tanner, come in Tanner do you copy." I heard the person on the walkie talkie say. There was a pause, and then the voice said "Tanner, Tanner come in Tanner do you copy". There was a pause again, but that's when I looked at the top of the stair case and it was another man.
