AJ'S POV

The Next Day...

I woke up by the sound of my cellphone ringing and by Vanny's small barks. I groaned. I tried ignoring it but both noises was too much. "AJ get your cellphone"Alex said. I stretched but I wanted to stay in bed.

"I need sleep"I said as the cell phone stopped ringing, but the barking continued. "Alex"I said annoyed by Vanny's barking. "Go feed Vanny"I said, and she giggled.

"With what food AJ"she replied, and I sighed.

"You didn't buy food"I said as I refused to open my eyes.

"It must've slipped my mind"she responded. I whined as she wanted to kill the dog.

"You really are a dog murderer. You're going to buy a dog and not dog food. You want our little girl to starve"I said and Alex sat up quickly.

"Wait little girl. What little girl? AJ are you pregnant?"Alex asked.

"No Vanny Alex. This pet should be like practice for our children. We have to feed our children. Can't buy a dog and no dog food. Just like you can't have a baby and no baby food"I elaborated. Alex nodded.

"So you want Vanny to be our practice child. A dog. An animal, that barks. If you say so Alexandra"Alex said as if she couldn't believe what I said. That's when my cell phone rang again. "AJ get your phone"Alex said. I whined.

"But its soooo far"I said looking next to the pile of clothes on the floor. It was in my pants pocket. "Its still early Alex. I'm really tired, and still a little sore for that matter"I said as I tried going back to sleep. Alex chuckled.

"Your not the only one miss. It might be Michael calling"Alex said. I sighed and rolled off the bed. The covers came off the bed with me. I dragged my body towards the pile of clothes. On the caller ID it was a picture of Michael and I groaned again.

"Hellooo" I said as I felt tired.

"I see someone went to bed late. I wonder what you and the MrMrss. was doing"Michael said and chuckled.

"Ha ha ha your so funny Michael"I said sarcastically. "What do you want. I'm tired, and so is the Mrs."I said as I layed on the floor. It was comfortable and I was drifting off to sleep a little bit. I closed my eyes and that's when I felt a pillow get thrown at my face. "Huh what what happened. Sorry Alex threw a pillow because I fell asleep. Can this wait Michael please. Just until like 2pm"I said.

"AJ do you not know what time it is?"he asked me.

"No not really"I said truthfully. I looked at my clock and whined more.

"Yup its 2:45pm. So get ready because we're having a council meeting. You know the attire. Oh and tell Alex as well. Inform her of all the rules and regulations if she doesn't know them"Michael said.

"Okay, but I'll be a little late. What time does it start?"I asked.

"4:45"he said.

"Okay we'll be there at 5:10"I said.

"What?!?"he exclaimed. "What am I suppose to tell the other HVIC's when the meeting commence? They'll have a fit. Remember what happened when I was late fifty years ago. They put me on kitchen duty and the hunting shifts. I hated it Alexandra!"he said and I chuckled.

"They won't do that to me. They love me too much. Plus I have Alex. An easy lie"I said. He sighed.

"Whatever just get here by 5:10 then. No later"he said.

"Okay dad anything else for your dearest AJ"I said with a smirk.

"Yes good day to you and drink plenty of caffeinated blood"he said and chuckled.
