ALEXIS'S POV
I woke up in the kitchen under one of the counters, as someone peeked down under the counter. He bent down to help me from under the counter. I giggled awkwardly, and he began to talk to break the silence. "I think that hair suits you." He chuckled, and helped me up. "Thanks." I smiled. I looked at the counter, and saw that he was preparing blood-b-qued pork skins. I knew my face lit up and a smile met from edge to edge on my face. "I haven't had those in weeks. I love the way you cook them. They're great. Amazing actually." I said and looked at him. His eyes were a deep crystal blue, and he stared at me as if he were reading me.

"They're actually my favorite meal to make. Would you like to help me to make this evening batch?" He asked, and smiled genuinely.

I nodded eagerly as he pulled out a rubberband and pulled my hair back into a ponytail. I shook at the awkward feeling of him touching my hair. He turned on the sink. "Wash your hands." he demanded playfully. He pulled a bowl of skins out of the refrigerator, a pitcher of blood, and seasoning. I walked over to him, and showed him my clean hands, like a child. I was happy to make one of my favorite meals.

He turned on the grill, and handed me some tongs. "Lift the skins and place them on the grill." He said gently as if he were talking to a child.

I giggled with excitement. "I like how your hair differs from your sister." He said. I looked up at him. "Thanks." I said and placed the last of the skins on the grill.

"How do you know my sister?" I asked, backing away from the grill. "I'm the chef," he said, pausing a little at the end. "Alexis." I said for him. He began to chuckle. "So now I can match the face to the woman who leaves me all the compliments on my food." He said.

"Yep." I said popping the p. I sat on the counter. I read his jacket. "Chef Clive." I said aloud. He nodded, and smacked my thigh with the spatula. "They need to be flipped." He smiled pointing to the grill. I shook my head. "You flip it, I'm afraid to be popped on the grill." I responded.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me off of the counter as we began to walk to the grill. He grabbed my hand and put the spatula inside of it, guiding me the correct way. He grabbed the pitcher and poured it onto the crispy skins. It looked great as it simmered against the grill.

"It looks great!" I said, and he smiled. "And it was great because of you." He responded with the same gentle smile that he had been giving the whole time. He raised a brow. "Are you ready to taste the Alexis special!" He asked. "The Alexis and Clive special." I shot back giving him credit. He chuckled and picked up a skin from grill. He held it up, and hand motioned me to open my mouth, I did so and ate the juicy skin. "It tastes awesome." I said. "Why were you sleeping on my kitchen floor?" He asked. I laughed uneasily as I remembered my place in reality. " I was hiding from my boyfriend, my sister and her wife." I responded, jumping back onto the marble counter. "Boyfriend? I'm so used to most of you being lesbians." He laughed and sat on the counter and next to me. "Yeah, that's all my sister." I said laying my head on his shoulder. "I don't think its normal to be avoiding your boyfriend to the point of where you hide in a kitchen where your body could've lit on fire. What did you do?" He asked. My watched beeped. It was time to go out with Honey. "I've got to go. A friend is taking me shopping, because my graduation is around the corner. I'll be a vampire." I said. Clive smiled again. "Have fun, Alexis. You can come back and talk if you'd like. Take a doggy bag." he responded giving me a lunch bag. "Thanks." I said walking away.Honey was sitting in my room on my bed. Her hair was jet black, and short, cut into a bob. She wore a yellow blouse with black skinny jeans. I gasped. "Honey, with short, normal colored hair and not wearing parachute pants?!" I said laughing. "This is my hairs normal length. And don't worry. I'll be sick of it soon."What the hells up with the whole 'I've been sobbing look.'" She asked. I walked away and into the bathroom to get ready. I was ready within 25 minutes, and lost the whole 'I've been sobbing look.'Honey was impressed. "You're learning baby girl." She said pushing back her hair looking at me. We walked out of the coven. "I don't want someone to drive me I want to drive myself. Plus that car matches my shirt." She said with a mischievous grin. She was pointing to Max's yellow Ferrari."Um. No no." I said before she ran to the car. "You're going to get put out before you even go into the coven. That's Max's car." I shouted"He will understand and we will take great care if his car." She said putting emphasis on we. I frowned her. "We?" I asked. "Yes we, or I'll tell James that you cheated on him with Michael." She said. I gasped and my mouth formed an o. "How'd you know!" I exclaimed. She smirked and hopped into the drivers seat. I rolled my eyes and followed her lead. "Elegant, formal kind of, right?" She asked. I nodded. We began to drive on the really bumpy road.We pulled into the parking lot of a Macy's.As we walked in, the place was kind of desolate. Honey cheered. "I like to shop with not too many people around. They cannot be so upset by my language." she said. We walked over to the dresses section.
