god how is haz and nora feeling?
haz will never be the same again

"I'm sorry baby girl, I'm so sorry. she's in a better place now" dad said holding my hand

"did you talk to them?" I asked wiping my tears

"who?" Olly asked

"Nora and Harry"

"Nora got the call with us" Noah said

"she's okay but they're worried about Harry" Olly said

"Meghan said that he locked up himself in his room" Dad said

"Yo—you know that he...-he'll never be the same again? Gram was his only family" I said "can you all leave? I..I need to stay alone"

"we're out if you need anything" dad said placing a soft kiss to my forehead

I nodded

"I love you" Olly said as he walked out from the room, Dad and Noah followed him out

it's crazy how someone could easily go and leave you behind
few days ago, we were laughing in her kitchen and now she's not here

Hours later

"you sure you won't come?" Dad asked

I nodded

"Darling, I won't force you to do anything but all I know is that Harry and Nora needs you right now. Let's leave Nora out because Olly is there for here but Harry needs you Addison. You think Noah or Olly or Meghan would help him? no we all know that we can't compare ourselves to you. don't do that to yourself and don't do it for Harry. He needs someone addy" he kneeled beside bed "you've been laying on the bed the whole day and I couldn't go there to be with them because her loss is hard on you too and I can't leave you"

"How can I look him in the eye, knowing that he lost someone that meant the world to him, that he loves endlessly? How can I take away his pain dad? Seeing him hurt just hurts me more"

"I know you can't take away his pain but you help him cope with everything, let him know that you're there for him and BE there. Teach him how to accept it and I know that Kid has been through hell, he will know how to deal with his pain" he said

"will it make him feel better?" I asked

"you being next to him will make him feel better" he answered as he stood up "I'll see you later"

"Wait for me" I said, I saw him smile before leaving the room

I didn't bother to change, I was wearing a hoodie and some sweatpants that I stole from Olly's closet

I grabbed my phone, put on some flats and got out of the house

the car drive was completely silent, dad knew that I didn't want to talk

gram was gone, she's not here anymore

I don't think I could ever accept that, how are Nora and Harry going to?

minutes later we were parked in their driveway, this time we were at Meghan's house not Gram's
will I never be able to visit that place again?

this time, I followed dad in
I was always excited to go to Nora's house but this time it was different

Dad opened the house door, i walked in to a completely silent house, it felt dead although there were few of their family sitting in the living room

"Hey darling" Meghan said pulling me into a hug,

"Hi, I'm so sorry for you loss" I said politely, I knew Edith wasn't her real mother but Meghan considered her as one

"thank you darling" she gave me a small smile as I pulled out from the hug, I made my way upstairs as Meghan talked to Dad

I heard the sniffing coming from Nora's room,  the door was opened so I entered and saw her all cuddled up with Olly as Noah was laying on the couch

"Addy" Olly called my name as soon as he saw me

Nora stood up as soon as she saw me and walked over to me pulling me into a tight hug

"I'm here, everything will be okay" I whispered

"stop acting like nothing happened"

"I'm not acting like nothing happened nora, I just know everything is going to be okay"

"i know that you're not okay Addy" She said and my heart warmed,
she just lost her grandma and she's thinking about how I'm feeling

"I'm not but it's okay"

"then don't act like it's not, i know you're hurting Addy. It's okay to feel things"
