"I totally fail at this" I confessed, it was just another day in an art class

"we know" Noah said as he pointed to my painting

"shut up" I nudged him "you should be hyping me up"

"both of you stop talking and focus on the painting!" Ms. Peters said as she passed by Noah and I "Miller, good work"

Noah gave me a look making me roll my eyes, he was a good painter actually but none of us is going to confirm that to him anytime soon

"you need more colours there" Noah pointed to my painting

"Shut up it's not like you can paint" I said

"Buddy, look at the difference and you'd see who's the painter" Noah smirked as i frowned

The class door opened and almost the whole class looked at the door including me and Noah

Olly entered with a worried expression on his face and i understood from the look that something happened

"Emerson, how can I help" the teacher turned to look at him

"I need Addison, it's an emergency" he said pointing at me

emergency? god i have a bad feeling about this

"Addison you are excused, you may leave" she said as I nodded

"Is everything okay?" Noah asked

"I don't know" I whispered

"text me" Noah said as i nodded before grabbing my bag and heading towards the door

"what happened?" I asked as soon as i stepped out and found harry also there "are you okay?"

"Yes yes I am okay" Olly said letting out a loud breath

"then what's wrong?" I asked but he closed his eyes shut and didn't answer making me look at Harry "Haz, what happened?"

"Dad" Olly answered

Dad???

"what happened to dad? Is he okay?" I asked starting to panick

"We don't know but he's gonna be okay" Harry assured

"What happened?" I asked as Harry wrapped an arm around me slowly

"We don't know, he got a call" Harry said

"Mom called" Olly suddenly said

I froze in my place and my eyes widened

"Huh?" i said making sure that I heard what he said right

"She called" he said again and I felt my heart drop

"What the fuck do you mean she called, don't mess with me" I said not believing anything he said

"She was with dad, she called me. She said you need to come to the hospital" he said "my heart stopped addy, I.. what is she doing there"

"no no dad won't do that to us"

"It's her voice addy, I swear it hers" he said, I saw how broken he was and it hurt to see that 

"are you sure?"

"I know her voice" Olly said "I exactly know how she sounds, can we go? we need to see dad"

"yeah let's go, I'll keep you updated" I said to Harry

"No, I'm not letting You drive" Harry said to Olly
