Chapter 26

   (A/N: you guys the 5sos fam is boss haha and to all the people who call us "5sos-ers" I literally DFWU JKJK  but srsly no)

(Anna POV)

     I calmed down the girls and they went back to sleep. I sank to the floor and decided to text Luke.
  
(Texting Luke)
  [Anna : Luke I saw the same thing from last night. It went into the babies' room and the door was locked I'm scared]

[ Lukey:just stay there until i get to you OK :-) ]

[Anna: OK but please come fast]

   
       I turned and faced the door.

     "That thing wants Mina and Char. What am I gonna do?!" I thought. Then I thought back to what Shana said to me.

     {Flashback}

     I was sitting on Shana's living room floor playing a game on my phone, while Shana was doing my hair. Suddenly we start to hear Mina crying.

    "I'll get her. She probably saw that thing again." She said that last part under her breath.

   "What thing?" I asked. She continued walking until she got to the top of the stairs.

    "She... Has nightmares and night terrors. Things like that. It doesn't mean anything. Don't worry about it." She said before heading up the stairs. I shrugged my shoulders and continued playing the game on my phone.

    {End of flashback}

          Maybe that's what "thing" Shana was talking about! The figure I saw has been after Mina since she was born!  I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of the doorbell. I ran downstairs and opened the door for Luke.

     "Oh my god thank you!" I said hugging him. He kissed the top of my head.

   "Hey, you're shaking. What happened?"He asked.

   " I saw the figure that I saw last night, go into the girls's room and when I went to open the door, it was locked. When it finally opened , there wasn't anything in the room with them." I explained. He went up the stairs and into Mina and Char's room.

   "Did you check the closet?" He said.

    "No. I was afraid that if I looked a way from the girls, it would come back." I said. He went over to the closet , opened the door,and looked inside.

   "There's nothing here." He said. Part of me was relieved that it wasn't there, but another part of me wanted to find out where it went. I told Luke about how Shana had said that Mina had been seeing something, but wouldn't tell me what.

   "I think it's been trying to get to Mina since she was born." I told Luke. He looked over at Mina.

   "Well, maybe we shouldn't leave you girls here by yourselves anymore. Just to be safe." He suggested.

   "So you believe me?" I said.He smiled.

    "Why wouldn't I believe you? We've been friends since like the 9th grade.You'd never lie to me." He said. I just smiled and hugged him.

    "Thank you Luke." I said.

   "You're welcome Anna. We just put down a blanket and some pillows on the floor and stayed in Mina and Char's room until Calum, Michael, and Ashton came back.
