About a week later
(Anna's pov
After the funeral, Luke took me to the place where I was supposed to sign the papers that says I'm the babies legal guardian. Then we went to pack up Shana's house.
We went into Mina and Char's old room. As I was looking through the boxes that they already packed. The pictures of them when they were little are so adorable! I walked around some more and saw a note. I didn't want anybody to walk in on me so I checked the hallway. "All clear." I whispered to myself. The note said:
"To:Anna &Her cute boyfriend Luke...
From: Shanalise..." Oh my god. Its from Shana!
"L-luke?!" I called down the hallway. Luke came into the room with a puzzled look on his face.
"Yeah? "He said .I held out the paper for him to read.He sat quietly for a few seconds then he spoke.
"She called me cute." He said with a smirk. Ugh boys. I opened the paper up.I read it out loud.
"Dear Annabella&Luke,
If you want to know why I did what I did, I did it because I was tired of people telling me I was nothing but a slut who went out and partied all the time, that I was too stupid to even go to college. Mom telling me I was never good enough for her...
Please don't think it was your fault, it really and truly wasn't you. OK? Tell my mom I'm sorry for being such a bad daughter ... Tell her I love her and always will.
