Chapter 7:A Call From Shana

He pulled back and looked at me.

" Why did you just kiss me Luke?"I asked ad he started the car. He looked away with an embarassed look.

"I-I mean... N-not that I didn't like thd kiss! I just wanted to know the reason you kissed me out of nowhere." I said trying to make the situation less awkward.He turned to me.

"I kissed you because you were crying and I didn't know what else to do... I've always wanted to kiss you but I didn't want to ruin our friendship."he explained, as we pulled up to the ice cream shop.

" Aww Luke! that's so sweet! I guess mom called it. If that's the case then that means I owe her 10 bucks..."I said.

"What?" He said as he parked in front of he ice cream shop and got out .

" Oh, i'll tell you some other time. It's not that important." I said feeling my face get hot. I didn't mean for him to hear that last part.

*[Time skip]*

(About an hour later)

When we were done with our ice cream,we were leaving when my phone started ringing really loud. It was awkward because Steal my girl by One Direction was my ring tone.I reached in my purse ab grabbed my phone .

"Hello?"I said.

"Hey its shana." Shana said.

"Hey Shana. What's up?"I asked confused at why she was calling me.

"I need a favor.Can you babysit Mina and Charlotte for a few hours?"She asked me.

"Uhh...-"

"Thanks baby cousin! Ok gotta go see you in a couple of minutes!"she said intterupting me right before I could say no to her .The last time I babysat her kids, Mina threw a sippi cup at my head.I had to get stitches!

After I hung up with Shana we left and went to Shana's house.

I looked at Luke. He looked kind of lost.

"You wanna come in with me? I could always use a witness! "I said. He laughed.

"Sure.What did you say your cousins name was?"He asked.

"Shana Wilson.Why?"

"I met her at one of our first concerts. She was with her friend...Emma... I think?"He said trying to remember her name.
