(Anna's POV)
A few hours later,we were siting in the living room when we heard the front door open and Shana came into the room. I could tell she was drunk.
"H-hey baby cousin.Thanks for watching my kids. You and your new b-boyfriend can go now." She said. Her words slurred a little.I was nervous to leave a 3 year old and a 5 month old baby alone with a drunk Shana.Who knows what could happen while she was intoxicated like this.
"Uhh...I could take Char and Mina for the night if you want.Just until you're sober enough to take care of them."I suggested.
" W-whatever you want. Just leave me alone."She snapped at me.Luke grabbed his keys and went out to start his car.
"Ill be outside Anna." He said as he closed the door behind him.I went into the girls room ane grabbed Char's carrier,a couple extra pairs of clothes and her diaper bag. Then ,I got Mina some clothes, her athsma pump, and an extra pair of sneakers and put them into her doc mcstuffins backpack.Then headed back down stairs. I went out to Shana's car and grabbed Mina and Char's carseats and put them into Luke's car.
*[Time skip]*
When we got to my house, Mina was singing a song on the radio.We were listening to Pandora and heartbreak girl came on.
"You call me up. It like a bwoken wecord sayin that your heawrt huwrts."She sang. Luke smiled at her.
"You like that song, Mina?" He asked her.
"Yes.Its my favworite song!" She exclaimed.
"Who Is it by?" He Asked her obviously knowing the answer.
"Its by 5SOS!I wuv 5SOS!" She said smiling at him.
"Do you wanna meet them Mina?" I aksed her.She nodded her head.I looked at Luke. He just smiled at me.
"Ok, I'll be back. I've gotta bring Char inside.Stay here Mina."I said as I unbuckled Char from her carseat and grabbed her bag.When I came back Mina was still singing. She actually had a really good voice for a 3 year old.
"I dedacate this song to you. The one who nevewr see the twuth. That I can take away youwr huwrt heawtbweak giwrl."she sang quietly as we drove to Michael's house.Boy, was she in for a surprise when we got to michael's house.
When we got to michael's house,I unbuckled her seatbelt and she hopped out of the car.She went up to Luke and tugged on his hand. He leaned down and she whispered something in his ear. Then he smiled and took her hand.I swear I smiled sooo hard.It was too cute.
(Luke's POV)
Mina tugged on my hand. I figured she wanted to tell me something, so I leaned down.
"Wuke can you howld my hand?" She whispered.I just smiled and took her tiny hand in mine and walked up to the front door of the house.
