Luke's pov
I was sitting in my room watching reruns of How I Met Your Mother when I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.
||texting Anna ||
[From Anna: Hey luke ;) im bored Wanna come with me to get some ice cream?]
[To Anna: sure ill meet you in front of your house]
[From Anna: hurry up luuuukkkkeee:( ]
I smiled a little.
(5 minutes later)
I waited in front of Anna's house I noticed there was a car there that i'd never seen before. I watched as a man in a business suit get out of the silver car with suitcase.He went up to the door and knocked.

(Anna's pov)
Me and mom were sitting in the living room when we heard a knock on the door.I gave mom a confused look before going to the door to see who it was. I looked throufgh the little window in the door to see who it was.
"Who is it?" I said
"Im here for important business." The man said. I looked at mom,she nodded and I opened the door.
(In the living room)
"Im sorry to have to tell you this Mrs. Benson, but your husband is missing in action. We've tried looking for him but he's gone. "
He said sadly. I could feel a tear rolling down my face. My father is gone. We might never see him again.
As soon as the man left I went out the front door to see if Luke had come yet. Sure enough, there was his car an he was sitting on the hood of it looking bored.
"Hey."I said as I walked over to the car.He looked up at me and got up.
"Hey, what's wrong?You look like youve been crying."He said.
" Oh... its about my dad and -" I was cut off by Luke's lips crashing into mine .I was shocked at first, then I kissed him back.
