CHAPTER 4

Elizabeth's P.O.V

"I am not going to ask you again Elizabeth." Luke said. "I am not going to say anything and like I said ask your dear sister Luke." I said with a disgusted look.

Before Luke could say anything my uncle pulled up.

"Liz all I ever wanted after your parents died was to comfort you but you pushed me away. You wanted to do drugs, to drink and smoke. Was it necessary I know you went through a rough patch but why Liz? Why?! All I did was be your friend. I have had it with your bullying Liz." she said faking crying.

I watched how she hugged my now ex boyfriend. My uncle came up to be and slapped me.

"I thought you were different. I thought I raised you different and this is the thank you I receive. Really Elizabeth? Was it necessary? I truly apologize for my niece's behaviour towards you. Apologize Elizabeth!" he demanded but I just stared at him.

I never apologized and my uncle got so angry that he slapped me again. Two slaps one evening. Such a uncle that he is.

"Since when did you start raising your hand to me uncle Si. You so unbelievable. Believe her fine! I don't care but you are not my damn parents to raise your hand to me or either anyone of you. Not that anyone ever cared about me. So no I'm not apologizing to this bitch because she knows whatever she just said now is not the truth. I'm not doing drugs like them, I'm not selling it, I'm not pressuring Mia to do drugs so if you want to believe her be my guest." I said.

"We will deal with this once you get home. I apologize on my niece's behaviour again. Elizabeth you disgust me. You walking home." my uncle said getting into his car and driving off with Paul behind him.

Mia them left and I stood there all alone. Tears rolled down my face and my legs gave in on me and I cried. Why is this happening to me? Why am I suffering after 5 years of them leaving me on this earth with their faults that they caused? Why me?! Luke came running back to me.

"Baby.."he said but I didn't look at him or give him an answer. "Baby I'm sorry for smacking you but I had to because otherwise they would have found out we together." he said again. "Baby look at me please." He said. "I'm sorry." he said looking into my eyes. "No one believes me Luke.... He slapped me twice..." I said. "Hey that's not true I love you and believe you." he said. "Why me?" I said. "It will end soon baby.I promise." he said. "Soon is forever I can't wait so long. I want to give up Luke." I said. "Don't you dare. You mine remember. We will live our lives together and be happy. I will be your happiness don't worry okay baby? Now I need to go back home now but make sure that you get home please?" He said.

"Liz baby. I love you so much and soon we will stop hiding okay?" he said wiping my tears from my face and kissing my forehead. "I love you Luke." I said. "Now go home please." He said. "Okay." I said. "Promise?" he said. "I promise." I said.

And with that he left me. I got up and decided to go to my aunt's house. I'm not ready to go home so maybe I can stay over at her house. Lets hope uncle Si doesn't come home. I just arrived about to open the door when I heard my aunty shouting.

"How could YOU SIMON SHE NEVER OMCED BULLIED MIA OR SMOKED LIKE HER PARENTS HOW COULD YOU BELIEVE THAT BITCH!" aunty Belle shouted at her husband.

"Why are you taking her side? It's not like you know whether she lied to you or not?!" he shouted back at his wife.

"Just SHUT UP! I know my niece because I've stayed with her for 5 years after they died. Liz got bullied by Mia not Liz bullying Mia because she never once smoked or fought. Everyday for 2 years I was called in from the school telling me to get Elizabeth at school because she's too injured to continue going to school. And that was 3 years ago. Elizabeth tried dying because of that. She was rushed to hospital many a times. So many times Elizabeth gets blamed for what my sister and my brother in law did. She's been judged. So next time before you smack Elizabeth make sure both sides of the stories are being told understand?!" she said.

"Shit! Why am I so stupid?" my uncle said.

"Phone her please and make sure she's at home." my aunty said.

Just than my phone rings. I left to ring and waited till it goes to voicemail before I switched my phone off completely.

"Voicemail." he said.

"Try again." she said.

"Hi it's Lizzie leave a message after the beep and I'll get right back to you....."

"That's not Elizabeth to leave her phone off. Phone the household and find out if she's at home." she said.

I took it as my cue to leave and head to my parents grave. It's a two hour walk and it's now 9pm so I'll get there at 11.

Next morning

It was morning and I realized I spent the evening at the graveyard. I got up from the tree that I've been seated by throughout the night which is directly next to my parents grave.

I walked passed a café realizing I have a few bucks that I can buy me something to eat. It was now 8 in the morning so I've decided to head home. When I reached the house Mitchell the cook opened the front door.

"Miss Elizabeth." he said. "Hi Mitchell. Don't tell anyone that I've arrived at home please. I'm not in the mood for any communication." I said. "Yes miss." he said. "Thank you Mitchell." I said smiling at him.

One thing about Mitchell is I came home a couple of times in bruises and he covered it up a few times before aunt Belle saw it but one day as he was helping inside the house and to put ice on my bruises my aunt came in and saw the bruises I've had and that's how she found out.

I head up to my parents room,locked the door. Showered and than got into the bed and fell asleep immediately.
