4 years later.

Luke and myself have been dating for the 4 years. We had an agreement three years back because I wanted to go to Harvard to further my studies, but he was just afraid I might meet another boy and leave him but that will never be the case.

I was sitting in the lounge catching up with Justin when I received a message from Babe❤🌏

Luke- Babe I'll pick you up at 8 Okay? Please wear the dress that Mia brought yesterday. She placed it under your bed.
Me- Okay babe😘
Luke- Love you so much ❤💍🌏
Me- Love you more babe🌏❤

8 o'clock.

Luke came in with a suit on. Don't he look dashing and handsome.

"Don't you look handsome." I said as I entered the lounge.

"And you look beautiful." Luke said kissing my lips. "Keep it PG please." Justin said. "Sure Sure." Luke said. "We going to head out now. See y'all later." Luke said. "Bye. Be safe and enjoy your time together." Mia shouted.

In the car.

"So where are we going?" I asked. "Its a surprise." he said. "I hate surprises and you know that." I said. "Well you'll love this one." he said.

We pulled over at some sort of hotel. Luke helped me out of the car. We went inside and I stood at the reception. Luke left my side and I don't even know when but he did.

The receptionist told me to follow her to the VIP room and I did.

WHEN I ENTERED THE ROOM IT TOOK MY BREATH AWAY.

There MY DEAR LOVING BOYFRIEND STOOD.
I was taken by the view and everything in the room.

Tears formed my eyes when I read the words.

"Baby it took me this long to ask you but I couldn't wait anymore. 4 years is quite long. Elizabeth Claire Adams will you marry me?" He said.

"Yes! Yes!" I said.

He put the ring on my finger and kissed me. We heard applause in the background. We pulled away and saw the staff of the hotel clapping as well as the people who were also in the VIP section.

"ILOVEYOU SO MUCH LUKE." I said hugging him. "I love you more baby." he said.

"Why don't we have dinner?" he said. "Sure." I said.

During dinner.

"How long did it take you to do this?" I asked. "6 hours." he said. "Is this why you didn't wanna video call me?" I asked. "Yes infact it is." he said laughing.

At home.

"Thank you for the evening babe." I said walking with him to my doorstep. "No problem baby. Let's prank them." he said kissing my lips. "Okay." I said.

We went inside.

"Baby I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to." Luke said. "Go home Luke I want nothing to do with you!" I shouted. "Baby please." He said.
