CHAPTER 8

Liz's P.O.V

"Did you girls really think you would get Elizabeth in the restroom so you can ambush her?" Louis asked. "Hey Lou you go the wrong idea. That's not what happened." I said. "Stop covering for them Liz." Harry said. "Guys listen to me." I said.

But none of them listened. I tried explaining that they misunderstood me. One small misunderstanding. I decided to walk away and head to the bleachers.

I sat there for quite some time when Skylar and her minions arrived. I closed my eyes preparing myself for Skylar hitting me but she was stopped by someone.

"If I dare see you near her again I'll kill you myself. Leave all of you." Luke said.

Skylar gave her own cousin a disgusted look and they left. Luke hugged me and than kissed me.

"You look beautiful." he said. "Luke we need to stop doing this please. I want to stop hiding. Stop the secrecy." I said. "So you want us to be over?" he said. Before I could answer him, he spoke.

"Lizzie baby I love you and I know you love me Why do you want to break this up that we have? Please think about it." he said. "Luke this that we have going on is fake, its not real and we both don't know what love is, so please just drop every last thought of us in your head.." I said. "I'm sorry Luke it's for the best." I said. "No no you can't give up so easily." he said.

He kissed me, while my tears ran. When we broke the kiss I looked behind him and saw Mia.

"Mia.." I said. "Mia can do nothing baby just don't leave me." I said. "Its over Luke." I said.

I ran after Mia. Luke ran after me.

"Mia! Mia! Wait! Its not what you think." I said. "Really it isn't. How long have you been screwing my brother behind my back?!" she shouted at me. "Mia please just listen to me." I said.

My ex best friends and the boys arrived after.

"Answer me Elizabeth. How long have you been screwing him? You know I so regret not doing the prank!" she said. "What's going on here?" Liam asked. "I don't know maybe your Prom Partner ran away to screw my brother."she said. "Is that true Liz?" Harry asked. "No no it's not what you think." I said.

"Don't play innocent I saw and witnessed it myself." Mia said turning on her heal and heading to the hall followed by the boys.

"Zayn? Niall? Liam? Louis? Harry? You guys have to believe me please." I said but they kept walking.

I stood there with tears in my eyes. Luke stood behind me about to touch my shoulder when I started walking away. In The Hall.

"Good evening students. Welcome to Prom Evening. So to announce our Prom King And Queen. Our Prom King is Liam Payne! And Our Prom Queen is Elizabeth Adams!" the host shouted.

Myself and Liam went up to receive our crowns.

"To make way for the king... Hold on the king as a request." the host said. "Okay enjoy the evening everyone. Our dance for the king and queen as requested will not take place." he said again after Liam spoke to him.

We walked off the stage. Luke came up to me AGAIN!

"Just once Liz please?" He begged. "Luke I said it's over please understand it." I said. "I'll leave you alone if you can tell me two things. The feelings we shared it meant absolutely nothing to you and you never once loved me." he said. "I took you for a fool Luke. I never loved you. My feelings weren't real and everything we heard wasn't real either." I said.

What I didn't expect was Luke to smack me across my face. I stood in shock at him.

"Liz.."he said. "Save it." I said waking out and to the restrooms.

"What a nice performance!" Skylar said as she enters the restroom. "Now let's finish our unfinished business we had on the field." she said.

Next I know I blacked out. I wake up on the nurse's bed.

"How do you feel Elizabeth?" she asked. "Little dizzy." I said.
