CHAPTER 10

Mia's P.O.V

I was in the room still after aunty Belle and uncle Simon left. I stayed behind and not long after that Lizzie started crying again and holding her stomach.She tried sitting up so I helped her up. She sat against the headboard and started coughing blood all over the sheets.

"Elizabeth?" I said. "I'm going to call your aunt downstairs okay." I said getting up and than ran downstairs with a horrifying face.

"Mia? Is everything okay?" Uncle Simon asked. "Lizzie....she's....she's....." I said trying to get the words out but couldn't get it out. "Mia calm down sweetie.." aunt Belle said walking towards me to calm me down. "You calmed?" aunt Belle asked and I shook my head. "Sweetie what's wrong with Lizzie?" aunt Belle asked. "She's.... She's...." I said still struggling to get the words out.

"Jordan go check on Lizzie." uncle Simon said.

Jordan went up and shouted from upstairs.

"Call an ambulance Lizzie is coughing up blood." he shouted. "WHAT?!" aunt Belle shouted.

The ambulance arrived 3 minutes after we phoned. Aunt Belle travelled with the ambulance and we all went in the limo.

At The Hospital.
3 hours later.

The doctor came out of the operation room.

"I have some good news and bad news. Bad news the broken ribs caused friction between her bones. Her lungs stopped for a few minutes. The reason why she coughed blood because she has broken ribs which fractured the kidney. Good news she's out of danger. Kidney repaired and she have a long road of recovery. Room 5L." the doctor said. "Thank you doctor." uncle Simon said.

I stood outside while everyone went inside the room.

2weekslater.

I was on my way to Amy's house when Lizzie's aunty phoned me to ask if I could watch Lizzie since all her ribs haven't healed completely. I agreed after I picked up the rest.

At Lizzie's House.

It's been 5 hours since we were here and she's been asleep.

Liz's P.O.V

I got up from my bed and went downstairs. All my ex best friends was sitting in my lounge.

"Hi?" I greeted. "Oh hey." Mia said. "You guys are here?" I questioned. "Oh yeah your aunt phoned me to you know make sure you don't hurt yourself so I picked up the rest of them." she said. "Oh okay." I said. "There's pizza on the kitchen table if you hungry." Mia said. "Thank you." I said genuinely smiling at all of them.

I walked to the kitchen to eat when the door bell rang.

"You go eat, I'll get the door." Mia said. "Thank you Mia." I said.

I took out a plate yo warm my pizza when Mia opened the door.

"Hey. Is Lizzie home?" the person asked. "Yeah she's in the kitchen. Come in" Mia said.

Door closed.

"Hey Liz here's someone who came to visit." she said. "Oh hey Jordan." I said turning around. "You remember Jordan right Mia?" I asked her. "I think." she said. "Obviously she knows me." he said smirking at her. "Am I missing something?" I asked.
