CHAPTER 14

Luke's P.O.V

4 hours later.

We finished packing her bags so now we are leaving to go pack my bags. I don't want to leave her just in case she wakes up,but I don't have much if a choice.

2 hours later.

Phone ring!

Me- Hello.
Justin- Liz woke up and not calming down and shouting your name whole time.
Me- Okay I'm on my way.

I switched the phone off took my keys laying on the bed.

"Hello no you not leaving until you done." Mia said. "Liz woke up and isn't calming down so I need to go down because Justin doesn't know how." I said.

She and Michael stood up and we drove down to the house. I got out of the car and ran inside. I could hear her screams as I reached half way up the stairs.

"No no! They gonna kill him! Where did he go?! Why did you let him go!"

"Liz his coming back.

"No no no no no no no!"

I reached the door to her room and opened it.

"See his alive." Justin said and she ran to me crying.

Justin left the room. I picked her up as she wrapped her legs around me still crying and hugging me tight. I sat down on the bed.

"Baby I'm here. Shhh... Hey look at me." I said as I lighted her head off my shoulder. "What happened?" I asked her. "I... I.... Had a bad dream..."she said as tears rolled down her eyes.

"I'm alive and I'm not going anywhere." I said. "That's what you said earlier on." she said hugging me again. "I know baby. I just had to go somewhere real quick." I said. "Come let's go to sleep." I said and she shook her head constantly.

"Baby I'll sleep with you and when you wake up I'm here, I promise." I said laying myself and her on the bed.

She soon fell asleep, Mia came in not long after that.

"Hey bro. How is she?" she asked. "Asleep, but I can't go pack finish she isn't going to allow to go back home to finish packing. She had a nightmare about me getting hurt and that's why she couldn't be controlled." I told my sister. "Its okay myself and Michael will go pack finish. Just came to check up on her and let you know I'm going back home to finish the packing." She said.

"Thank you sis. You are an angel." I said. "Get some rest brother. You gonna need it." she said. "Good night brother." she said. "Good night sis." I said as she closed the door.

Liz's P.O.V.

Next morning.

I woke up next to Luke. All last nights memories came back to me. I watched him as he was asleep.

"Good morning! Time to get up!" Mia said coming into my room. "We could have been naked Mia." Luke said and I laughed. "But you not that's the important thing." she said. "Can't you leave now please?" Luke asked. "Nope you have 3 hours left before you have to board that flight." she said. "What flight?" I asked.

"We going to Hawaii for 2 weeks." Luke said. "Really?!" I said all of a sudden excited.

3 hours later.

2WEEKSLATER.

Luke dropped me off at home and than left immediately to get to Mia who was apparently in trouble. I walked up the steps of my door and went inside. The minute i stepped inside I saw the kitchen was such a damn mess.

"Well isn't it nice of you to join us dear Elizabeth." a guy said holding a knife.

Justin was laying on the floor unconscious with blood.

"As much as I know that you want to get to your dear brother I'm not going to be long. R500 000 belongs to me and your parent didn't pay me instead they died so now I'm coming to their dear children for my money. I'm giving you 2 months to get me my money or I will make you pay, if not you than I will make someone you love pay understand. I did send you a warning two weeks ago you know the banner it was me." he said winking and running his index finger up and down my cheek.

He left and his minions followed. I dropped my suitcase and ran to Justin. I took my phone out and phoned an ambulance.

AT THE HOSPITAL.

I sat in the waiting room. 2 hours later. Phone rings!

Me- Hello
Luke- why does your house look like a trash yard?
Me- I'm at the hospital.
Luke- Why? What hospital?
Me- Justin is.... His in the operation room.
Luke-I'm on my way.

15 minutes later.

"Baby? What happened?" Luke asked as him, Michael and Mia came in the waiting room. "You dropped me at home. I went in and the gunners were there. They knocked him unconscious when I got there he was in blood. I can't lose my brother Luke." I said as I started crying.

"Baby you brother is a strong person." he said. "Did they want anything from you?" Mia asked.

"Liz?" Mia said. "No they didn't want anything." I said.

Before she could answer me a lady came in shouting with a 13 year old boy coming in and a girl at the age if 8

"What the hell do you mean my husband is in hospital?!" She shouted. "Ma'am can you calm down." the receptionist asked. "Don't tell me to calm down dammit. I flew all the way from Canada with my kids and you telling me to calm down!" she shouted. "Ma'am if you could follow me please?" the receptionist asked her and they walked into my direction.

"Ma'am this is your husband's sister if you could please sit down and wait till the doctors come back from the operation room it would mean a lot." the receptionist said. "My husband has no siblings."she said looking at me.

"Miss Adams." the doctor said entering the waiting room. "Yes."I said standing up. "Umm.. His okay a few broken bones. Lost a lot of blood. But his out if danger." the doctor said. "Thank you doctor." Luke said. "Room 6A." he said.

That lady and her children followed us.

"Mommy whose this?" the young girl asked. "I'm not sure baby but you can ask your father." she told her daughter.

We got to the room and I went in,with the rest following me.

"Justin!" I said seeing him awake and running to him.
