CHAPTER 13

Luke's P.O.V

Lizzie goes upstairs and I head to the kitchen to get me water. Justin comes in and sits on the chair by the table. He makes eye contact with me.

"Sit down. We need to talk. Actually we must talk." he said.

I took the seat opposite him.

"What's going on between you and my sister?" he asked. "Nothing." I said. "One thing I dislike about people is when they lie to me." he said. "Well you see I asked your sister out. She's been refusing me so there isn't really going anything on between us." I said.

"Really?" he asked. "Yes really. I came today to ask for my answer today but unfortunately she is ignoring the fact that I asked her out. "Oh I see." he said. "Yeah now you have it." I said. "I can help you, you know." he said. "Really?" I asked. "Sure we can speak tomorrow about it.. Let's head in." he said.

Next morning.

Justin and myself spoke about what he had planned for myself and Liz.

2 weeks later.

Today is the day I need to fix up my date with Liz.

Evening.

"Ready?" Justin asked. "Nope. What if she doesn't show up?" I asked. "You go so on like you getting married. Liz is already on her way here." Mia said coming in with Jordan following. "How is she coming here and with whom?" I asked.

"She's driving and she's alone." Mia said. "And she doesn't know about it so relax mate." Jordan said.

"She's alone?! How can you allow her to drive alone?! DAMMIT!" I shouted. "Mate chill my sister has her license let her drive." Justin said. "But...." I said. "Bruh I'm going to slap you if you not going to calm down." Mia said.

"Hey guys Liz just pulled up." Jordan said.
"Oh no." I said. "Time to Party!" Mia shouted.

Time skip! Reached her house... Once we got out of the car I spoke to her.

"Liz..." I said. "Liz I know I said I'm going to give you time to think about it, but it's impossible. I'm trying to wait so long for you, you constantly on my mind. Liz I love you and I want you to he mine." I said.

She just stared at me. I took it as my cue to leave but her voice stopped me.

"Luke. I want to be yours but I'm scared."she said. "Scared of what baby." I asked her turning around. "Scared of getting hurt." she said. "I will never hurt you baby girl."I said taking hold of her hands. "Baby I love you. I will never hurt you."I said. "I know. I know." she said looking down. "Liz will be my girlfriend again please?" I asked and she nodded her head yes.

I let go if her and hugged her so tight and kissing her cheek.

"Baby you just made me happy." I said and she smiled at me. "Are you tired?"I asked. "Baby."I said again and she stared at some thing behind me.

I turned around to see what she is staring at and it was a banner by her fence.

There was blood on the side of the writings.

"Baby let's go inside."I said taking her in and Michael them were all still awake. "And how was it?" Mia asked. "Can someone get me sugar water please and bring it upstairs?" I said and took her straight up.

Mia came up and stare the state her best friend was in.

"What happened?" she asked. "Where is the water?" I asked. "Justin is bringing it. What happened?" she asked again. "Can we speak about that once we get this girl out of shock." I said. "Here's the water, but what is it for?" Justin asked. "Babe drink this please?" I asked her.

I hold the cup against her lips and she took her sip of the water still staring at the wall.

Justin, Michael and Mia left the room. Liz drank all the water and I helped her undress, tucked her into bed.

"Baby you can fall asleep.I'm not going anywhere." I said and waited until she fell asleep,before I went downstairs.

"Is she asleep?" Mia asked being the first to notice me. "Yes."I said. "What happened that made my sister so?" Justin asked. "We just pulled up and I spoke to her about how I felt she said she's going to give me another chance. But than she kept staring at the back of me and when I turned I saw her stare at a banner hanging by the fence." I said.

"What does the banner got to do with her state of shock?" Justin asked. "Its not the banner it is what was on their banner." I stated. "Okay so what was on the banner than?" Mia and Michael asked.

"We coming back for you.... A few months back was only the beginning of war,we ain't finish yet. -unknown. And there was blood on the sides of banner." I said quoting the words I read on the banner. "So no name just a random unknown person." Justin said angry at whoever put the banner there and making his sister in shock.

"Poor Elizabeth she's being through enough." Michael said. "What are we going to do about this?" Mia asked. "We can't go to the police because we don't have enough prove that it's a threat." Justin said and Mia jumped up from her seat. "Excuse me! That's a threat to kill my best friend!" she shouted. "Yeah and the cops will take it as a prank because we have no evidence!" Justin said raising his voice.

"Guys it's pointless jumping down one another's throats so stop raising your voices, Liz is asleep and Justin has a point Babe we don't have enough evidence." Michael said. "Sorry for shouting at you Justin, but you can't tell me that this is a prank when clearly its a threat and secondly this house was shot at more than once and yet you still think it's a prank?" Mia asked.

"Mia I didn't say it's a prank its what the cops won't believe if we tell them about the banner. Who evens says that the banner and the gunners are the same people?" Justin said. "Hey guys why don't we send Liz on holiday for a week or 2 she needs the break." I suggested. "My sister is not leaving this house alone, not until I find out who this person is who is after her." Justin said.

"She doesn't have to be alone. I can go with her but this stress, the gunners and the threats are too much for this girl to handle. She's being through a lot and I think a week or 2 away won't hurt her." I said. "I think it's a great idea. What do you say Justin,don't you think your sister deserves a bit of freedom she's been through a lot more than any of us." Mia said. "It's a great idea but what it they follow you guys. I just can't lose my sister." he said. "I know Justin but she needs it." Mia said.

"Fine. Lets book her and your brother a flight to Hawaii." Justin said. "I'll pack her bags." Mia said. "And after we can pack Luke's bags." Mia said.
