"You sure he's going to be okay?" Natasha eyed Clint's wound as he laid on a table, an advanced machine Dr. Cho had created put over him. "Pretending to need this guy really brings the team together."

"There's no possibility of deterioration." Dr. Cho replied as Evelyn smirked at Clint's glare addressed at Natasha. "The nano-molecular functionality is instantaneous. His cells don't know they're bonding with simulacrum."

"She's creating tissue." Bruce explained, an awe clear on his face.

"If you brought him to my lab, the Regeneration Cradle could do this in twenty minutes." Dr. Cho stated as Tony walked in with a tray in his hands.

"Oh, he's flatlining." He joked. "Call it. Time?"

"No, no, no. I'm going to live forever." Clint chuckled as Tony handed him a drink. "I'm gonna be made of plastic."

"Here's your beverage." Tony held out a cup to Evelyn who shook her head and took a step back.

"Keep that green stuff away from me." She hated his green detox juice but she sighed when he shot her a pointed look and reluctantly took it from him. Getting an idea, she flashed him a smirk and poured the contents of her bottle in the cup, which was just plain vodka. "Happy?"

"That defeats the whole purpose..."

"You'll be made of you, Mr. Barton." Dr. Cho smiled at Clint, easing his worries. "Your own girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference."

"Well, I don't have a girlfriend." Clint mumbled, taking another sip.

"That, I can't fix." Dr. Cho shook her head with a smile. "This is the next thing, Tony. Your clunky metal suits are going to be left in the dust."

"Well, that is exactly the plan." Tony replied. "And Helen, I expect to see you at the party on Saturday."

"Unlike you, I don't have a lot of time for parties." Dr. Cho shot him down but looked back up with small hesitation. "Will Thor be there?"

"I'm sorry, Doctor." Evelyn chuckled, reaching the door. "He's kind of taken."

"Oh, this is hilarious." Evelyn sarcastically remarked as she tried to get the last slice of pizza. "Thor!"

"I called the last slice." Thor replied with a smirk as Steve chuckled at their banter. "You should be able to get it if you're worthy."

"Get your hammer off the pizza box or I'll kick your ass all the way to Asgard." Evelyn narrowed her eyes at the man, trying to move the box. "Steve!"

"Don't pull me into this." He held out his hands in surrender. "You can have my slice."

"This isn't over." She poked Thor's arm with a glare and walked over to Steve. "So, how do we get our revenge?"

"We don't?" Steve offered with a small smile as Evelyn watched Thor lifting his hammer with ease and put the last slice in his mouth, shooting Evelyn a cocky smile.

"You guys ate without me?" Natasha strolled into the kitchen, putting her empty cup on the counter. "Rude."

"How's Clint?" Evelyn asked as Natasha opened the fridge to find something to eat.

"He's sleeping it off." She replied her head still in the fridge. "Someone needs to restock this fridge."

"JARVIS?" Evelyn called out.

"I'll alert the staff, Miss Townsend."

"I should have stretched." Evelyn groaned, tapping Natasha's leg to she would get off of her.

"I'm telling you." Natasha replied as they took their stances again. "You should do ballet or something."

"I've done enough." Evelyn blocked Natasha's kick and grabbed her ankle. "I'm not putting my feet in pointe shoes ever again."

"Maybe you can stretch with Cap." Natasha smirked at her and it was Evelyn's time to throw her to the floor, her knee on Natasha's chest.

"Shut up." Evelyn mumbled, looking to the corner where he was running on the treadmill. "What are you- Nat."

"Hey, Rogers!" Natasha called out to the man with a huge smirk. "Mind taking my place? I need a breather."

"You're dead to me." Evelyn whispered to Natasha. "Dead."

"Thank me later." Natasha patted her shoulder and threw her off of her.

"You don't have to." Evelyn called out as he slowed down on the treadmill. "Finish your routine."

"No, no." Steve wiped his forehead with his towel, walking towards them. "Been a while since I sparred with someone."

"I won't go easy on you." Evelyn playfully smiled at him making him laugh.

"Don't expect you to." He took his shoes off and got on the mat.

The duo went on for five minutes, both of them slightly out of breath with smiles on their faces. Evelyn blocked his attacks and managed to jab his side once, the shock making him lower his defenses. Taking her chance, Evelyn threw herself over him, wrapping her legs around his shoulders to bring him down.

"Giving up yet?" She asked as she laid on the mat, holding Steve in place with her legs.

"Not yet." Steve grunted and flipped them over, Evelyn lying face down with him straddling her back. "Giving up?"

Evelyn managed to turn around in his hold and instantly got an idea, putting on a wince on her face. This quickly wiped the smile on Steve's face, thinking he had hurt her. Evelyn quickly pushed his shoulders back and put her knee on his chest.

"I win." Evelyn smirked at him as he looked at her with wide eyes.

"You cheated." He breathed out, his eyes briefly flashing down to her lips or she imagined so.

"Technically, I didn't." Evelyn replied realizing the compromising position they were in and got up. "You lowered your defenses."

"Thought I hurt you." Steve took the hand she held out for him and Evelyn pulled him up.

"You know it takes more than that to hurt me." Evelyn mumbled as Steve unwrapped the tape around her fist.

"I know." He replied with a quiet voice, repeating the same on her other hand.

"Thanks." Evelyn breathed out, suddenly feeling parched. "I better get going."

"Yeah, I should, uh... I should finish my workout." Steve pointed at the back of the gym, scratching the back of his neck.

"I'll see you at the party tonight." Evelyn shot him an awkward wink, pointing at him with finger guns and hurried out of the gym.

"That was so painful to watch." Natasha commented, joining her side. "Like, it physically hurt."

"You were watching the whole time?" Evelyn asked with a frown.

"Of course." Natasha replied with a shrug, as if it was obvious.

"Creep."
