Nate leans against the window frame of his cabin, watching the lake in front of him as the sun glistens off it. He turns his head slightly, seeing Shane appear out of the corner of his eye. Shane slaps Nate on the shoulder lightly with a wide smile on his face.

"I take back what I said about girlfriends."

"It's all good, because at this rate, I'll never have one." Nate mumbles thinking about the situation earlier.

"What do you mean?" Shane turns his head to look at his little brother, leaning on the window pane.

"Well, there's this girl."

"I kind of figured."

Nate rolls his eyes as Jason appears on the other side of Shane. "I really like her, but I'm having a hard time telling her how I really feel."

"You're a rock star, dude. Use it."

"She doesn't care." Nate mutters. "She just wants to know all this stupid, random stuff about me."

Shane smiles, patting Nate's shoulder. "It's not random stuff. She just wants to know you care enough to let her know who you are."

"Well, I care. But I just don't know how to say it."

Jason speaks up. "Well, if you can't say it, you can sing it."

Sitting on the bench that faces the lake, Lizzie holds the set list for the performance as she finalizes the last minute details before rehearsal in the next couple of minutes. She was so fixated on the set list that she didn't notice the figure standing over her, guitar in hand.

"Hi, Lizzie!"

Lizzie starts, dropping the paper in her hand. "Oh!"

"Kind of makes you jump, doesn't it?" Nate smiles as the girl bends down to grab the paper, not looking at the boy.

"What do you want, Nate?" She mutters, still hurt over their last conversation. "We have a rehearsal soon."

"I know, but I couldn't wait." Nate rushes out, scared she'll walk away from him.

Lizzie furrows her brows.

"Wait for what?"

Nate reaches into his shirt pocket, pulling out a piece of paper. He holds it out towards Lizzie. "It's a list of things that nobody knows about me."

"Two minutes." A voice echos over the P.A. system, causing Lizzie to sigh. She clutches the papers closer to her chest, and turns of her heel.

"I really gotta go. I'm sorry."

"Wait." Nate rushes out, running in front of her. "We still have two minutes."

"Okay." Lizzie mumbles, taking a seat back on the bench as Nate strums softly on his guitar.

"I'm
I'm good at wasting time
I think lyrics
Need to rhyme
And you're not askin'
But I'm tryin' to grow
A mustache."

Lizzie giggles softly as he pulls a face at her.

"I eat cheese
But only on pizza, please
And sometimes
On a homemade quesadilla
Otherwise it smells
Like feet to me
And I, I really like it
When the moon
Looks like a toenail
And I love it when you say
My name."

"Places, everybody. Come on." Baron was heard shouting in the distance. Lizzie goes to stand up, but Nate stops her again.

"If you wanna know
Here it goes
Gonna tell you
There's a part of me
That shows if we're close
Gonna let you
See everything
But remember that you asked
For it."

Lizzie was able to side step past him, and was making her way to the rehearsal, Nate following her as he continues to sing.

"I'll try to do my best
To impress
But it's easier to let you
Take a guess at the rest
But you wanna hear what lives
In my brain and my heart
Well, you asked for it
For your perusing
At times confusing
Slightly amusing
Introducing me
Do-do, do-do, do-do-do
Do-do, do-do, do-do-do
La-da, da-da
La-da, da-da, da-da
Da-da, da."

"Come on, get a move on! We don't have all day!"

Lizzie smiles as Nate continues signing, feeling the bitter resentment she previous held for him, melting away at every verse. Her cheeks are flushed, blushing at the fact that Nate went out of his way to write a song for her to learn who Nate Gray is.

"I never trust a dog
To watch my food
And I like to use
The word "dude"
As a noun or an adverb
Or an adjective
And I
I never really been into cars
I like really cool guitars
And superheroes
And checks with lots of zeros
On 'em.

"I love the sound of violins
And makin' someone smile
If you wanna know
Here it goes
There's a part of me
To show if we're close
Gonna let you see everything
But remember
That you asked for it
I'll try to do my best
To impress.

"But it's easier to let you
Take a guess at the rest
But you wanna hear what lives
In my brain and my heart
Well, you asked for it
For your perusing
At times confusing
Possibly amusing
Introducing me."

Lizzie stops walking towards the main stage, stopping in front of Nate as he sings to her, keeping eye contact.

"Well, you probably know
More than you ever wanted to
So be careful when you ask
Next time
So if you wanna know
Here it goes
Gonna tell you there's a part
Of me to show if we're close.

"Gonna let you see
Everything
But remember
That you asked for it
I'll try to do my best
To impress
But it's easier to let you
Take a guess at the rest
But you wanna hear what lives
In my brain and my heart.

"Well, you asked for it
For your perusing
At times confusing
Hopefully amusing
Introducing me
Do-do, do-do, do-do-do
Do-do, do-do, do-do-do
Do-do, do-do
Introducing me."

Nate finishes, holding the last note for a second before releasing it. Lizzie cheeks are speckled with a light blush. She grabs the paper that he showed her early from his flannel pocket, and tucks it in hers. Nate watches as she presses herself on her toes.

Lizzie presses a soft kiss to his upturned cheek, feeling it move under her lips as Nate smiles. "Thank you." She whispers, before pecking his cheek again.

Nate watches as she leaves, pumping his fist in the air once she's out of sight.

Who knew advice from Jason would actually help him win the girl back.
