MUSIC SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE ROOM, as the class danced. Lizzie sat in the middle row, tapping her foot to the beat as she writes in her song book. Caitlyn was standing next to her, dancing as Sander and Baron played a beat on the drums towards the back of the room.

The classroom's door opens to reveal the owner and founder of Camp Rock, Brown Cessario. He walks into the classroom, nodding his head to the beat as he plays air guitar. "Whoa!" He calls to the class as they continue to dance. "If the class is a-rocking, I'm-a glad I came knocking." Lizzie laughs with everyone as the room quiets down. She places her book on her lap before turning her attention to Brown. "So, let's hear what I'm working with this year. Who wants to sing first?"

Multiple hands flash up high into the air, eager to be picked. Two people remained with their hands by their sides. Lizzie and Mitchie. The latter was ducked low in her chair as Brown scans the room.

"My goodness. All right. Eeny, meeny, miny, you." Brown points to Mitchie causing her to look up scared.

"Me?"

"Can't argue with the finger." Brown holds his pointer finger up in the air, shrugging as to say 'what can you do?'"

Tess looks at Mitchie who was sitting next to her, noticing her hesitation.

"I'll do it." She volunteers raising her hand up high.

"No." Brown denies, glancing at Tess quickly before turning his attention back to Mitchie. "The finger picked her. Well..."

Mitchie tries to come up with an excuse, feeling the eyes of everyone staring at her. She finally sighs before nodding albeit reluctantly. "Okay."

Mitchie shakily rises from her metal chair, before walking next to Brown, keeping her eyes facing towards the ground. She turns slowly to face the expectant eyes of her classmates.

"Right. Let her rip." Brown motions his hand towards the class, causing Mitchie to inhale shakily.

"Who will I be?
It's up to me..." Mitchie starts to sing low, Lizzie and the crowd barley able to hear her.

Brown raise his hand, cutting her off, sensing her nerves. "All right. I know you're singing a solo, but it's so low, I can't hear you. All right? So, bit louder." Brown steps off to the side as Mitchie begins again. This time stronger and louder.

"Who will I be? It's up to me.
All the never-ending possibilities
That I can see
There's nothing that I can't do
Who will I be?
Yes, I believe I get to make the future
What I want to
If I can become anyone
and know the choice is up to me
Who will I be?" Mitchie ends, looking up at the class to see expressions of awe planted on their faces.

"She's great." Peggy whispers to Tess, causing the blonde to clench her teeth together, annoyed.

"That was great."

"That was so amazing."

"That's not bad. Not bad at all." Brown agrees with the class walking towards Mitchie. "Is that an original?"

"Yeah, it's mine, but..." Mitchie starts but stopped when Brown raised his hand in a stop motion.

"No buts. It's good." Mitchie smiles wide at his approval. "Let me have a high five."

"Oh, thanks." Mitchie and Brown high-five each other causing Tess to look between the two, angry.

"All right."

Later in the day, Lizzie stood in the dance studio. Her attire consisted of black leggings, a maroon tank top, and sneakers. She stood beside Baron and Sanders, stretching as they waited for their instructor, Shane Gray. Tess stood with Peggy and Ella as they rehearsed their dance for the camp rock campfire.
