LIZZIE SAT ON HER BED, WRITNG IN HER SONG BOOK, as Tess, Peggy, and Ella practiced for the Campfire jam. The three girls were singing, mostly Tess with Peggy and Ella singing backup.

"You think you're hot.
But I'm sorry you're not exactly
who you think you are.
Can't tell you what
What you haven't got
But when we walk into the room."

Tess sighs frustrated as they went off key again.  "You have to work with me."

"We are." Peggy snaps at her. "Ever think it was you that messed up?"

Tess glares at Peggy in response. "Once again from the top, girls." She snaps her fingers in a 1,2,3,4 count.

"You think you're hot
But I'm sorry you're not exactly
Who you think you are
Can't tell you what
What you haven't got
But when we walk into the room."

"Work with me here, people!" Tess snaps again, looking at Peggy and Ella.

"Hello? We're trying, but you..."

"If we want to win, you guys have to listen to me." Tess exclaims, Lizzie rolling her eyes at her sister, her eyes shielded by her book. "Let's go again."

"You think you're hot
But I'm sorry you're not exactly
Who you think you are
Can't tell you what
What you haven't got
But when we walk into..." As the three girls sing, Peggy raises her voice higher, rolling her eyes behind Tess' back.

Nate and Jason lounged on two sun chairs, soaking up the summer's sun, enjoying the warmth as it seeps into their skin. The only sound to be heard was the sound of birds chirping in a tree nearby. The silence was interrupted by the shrill ring of Nate's phone.

Knowing who it was, Nate digs his phone out of the pocket of his shorts, hitting the green answer button.

"Hello?"

"Come on, guys. I learned my lesson." Shane's voice sounds over the speakers as Nate places his phone on speaker, setting it on the table between Jason and himself. "I showered in cold water, I have looked at a tree. It's been three hours. I need hair product."

"I guess it's time to embrace the natural look." Nate replies as he slips sunglasses over his eyes. "Oh, have fun."

"Don't forget my birdhouse!" Jason shouts before Nate hangs up the phone.

Later that night the campers gather together into the dining hall, waiting for the Opening Night Jam to begin. Tucked into the corner of the dinning hall, Lizzie wrapped her arms around her self as Barron and Sanders conversed from either side of her. Dee excitedly prances to the middle of the dining hall, waving her hands to gather the campers' attention.

"Hey, Camp Rockers! Next up, let's have a big Camp Rock welcome for Lola Scott!" Dee cheers as a tall, dark skinned, dark haired girl separates from the crowd.

"Wish me luck." Lola throws over her shoulder to Mitchie and Caitlyn. Walking to the middle of the room, Lola was soon flanked by two girls. Posing in front of the dining hall, the three girls waited for the music to begin.

"Who's got what it takes to be my guy
What it takes to make me shine
What it takes to get me fired up?
Who's got what it takes to be my beau
What it takes to make me glow
What it takes to make this beat flow?" Lola sings as she sits on one of the tables.
