Chapter 13

When I woke up it was to my phone going off. I roughly grabbed it and put it to my ear.

"What?"

"Have you seen the king?" Drautos asked calmly.

I looked beside me and smiled as I saw Regis fast asleep. I nudged him and handed the phone to him.

"What?" He asked with a frown.

He let out a groan and covered his face.

"Yes, yes I'll be there. Tell them I was busy." Regis said as he looked over at me.

I laid my head on my hand and held back a laugh. Regis looked up at me and I sent him a wink.

"Actually, I'll be a little late.. tell them about ten minutes, have to get dressed." He said before hanging up.

I let out a laugh as he pinned me to the bed and peppered my face with kisses.

"I love you." He said softly.

"I love you too." I said as I smiled up at him.

He quickly leaned back down and captured my lips with his again. I let out a main as his hands ran down my body.

"Regis, you have a meeting." I said as he started to move down my body.

"And?" He asked as he kissed down my chest.

"And... oh fuck... and you have to attend." I gasped out.

He let out a sigh and set up.

"Fine, but we will finish this." He said as he pecked my lips before standing up.

I shook my head and pulled the covers up. He got dressed and turned to look at me.

"Hope you don't expect to wear a tank top." He said before he left the room.

I quickly stood up and saw that I was covered in hickies.

"Bastard." I said as I shook my head.

I slipped on a shirt and left to check on Noct. I smiled as I saw him with Nyx.

"Mom!" He exclaimed as he ran up and hugged me.

"Oof! Easy kiddo." I said with a laugh.

"Nyx said you were sick." He said as he looked up at me.

"Just a little bug. Nothing to worry about." I said softly.

"You feeling better?" He asked softly.

"Much."

"YOU GOT HER PREGNANT!" A voice yelled.

"That sounded like Clarus." Nyx said calmly.

"MARIAN!"

"There goes the Captain." I said as calmly.

I heard footsteps and turned to see Clarus dragging Regis by his ear and Drautos beside him.

"Council room! Both of you!" Drautos ordered.

"It was his fault!" I said quickly.

He grabbed me by my ear and dragged me behind him. We made it inside and he shut the door. Clarus let go of Regis and looked between both of us.

"I thought we were waiting to tell them." I whispered.

"It slipped out. Clarus asked who I was sleeping with and I told him it was you and he got mad..... I then tried to make it sound better by saying I got your pregnant."

"How was that going to make it better!" I snapped.

"A second heir?" He said questionably.

"I thought I told you both to use protection!" Clarus snapped.
