(Y/n) stood being held by a large pirate, Will next to her, as Jack looked through the piles among piles of gold surrounding them. She really hoped that Jack knew what he was doing, because right now, he was ogling a small solid gold statue.

"I must admit, Jack, I thought I had you figured, but it turns out you're a hard man to predict." Barbossa said from his seat before the chest.

Jack looked at him and threw aside the statue, walking forward and saying, "Me? I'm dishonest. And a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest one's you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid." He stopped beside a pirate skipping rocks on the water, and looked to Will and (Y/n), silently telling them the plan. He grabbed the sword from the pirate and kicked him in the water. Jack threw the sword to Will, who caught it as (Y/n) knocked over the pirate holding them. Will cut their bonds and she grabbed her sword from the pirate.

As Jack and Barbossa started fighting, Will and (Y/n) had their own brawls with the crew. (Y/n) had gotten better than when she was in Port Royal, and the adrenaline that kicked in helped her to stay alert.

Jack sliced at Barbossa's feather on his hat, and laughed, to which Barbossa growled and attacked him harder.

Will and (Y/n) fought off the three pirates, until the pyromaniac was pushed into the moonlight that drifted into the cave. He growled and yelled at them, sword going for Will's middle, but (Y/n) blocked it and hit him in the face.

Jack and Barbossa fought their way through the maze of gold, dodging and parrying each swing with one of their own. Barbossa took Jack and brought him closer, their swords blocking each other. "You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here, there be monsters!". Barbossa threw Jack aside, who began running, and followed him up the cave.

Their swords rang through the cave as Jack was forced to the ground, Barbossa kicking him back down when he tried to get back up. Barbossa threw his sword to the ground, arms out, and said, "Ye can't beat me, Jack."

Jack stood up hurriedly and shoved the sword into Barbossa's gut. The man sighed and rolled his eyes, taking the sword from himself and stabbing it through Jack.

(Y/n) had punched a skeletal pirate in the face, knocking him to the ground, and looked up just in time to see Barbossa plunge his sword into Jack's gut. "NO!!" she screamed. She watched for a moment, only to see Jack stumble into the moonlight, and turn completely skeletal. She frowned and furrowed her eyebrows, barely having enough time to process it as the pirate she knocked over came back with more fury.

Jack looked at himself in the moonlight, lifting a hand to examine it. "That's interesting." he muttered as he turned over his hand. Barbossa looked on in confusion, watching as Jack took the hidden coin from his pocket and rolled it over his fingers. "Couldn't resist, mate." he said, and stopped the coin. Barbossa growled, and took some gold beside him to throw at Jack, who stumbled backwards after taking his sword from his chest.

Will had snapped out of his daze when the pyro-pirate came barreling at him, renewed anger evident. (Y/n) ran towards Will and stopped next to him as the pirate attacking him stuck his sword into the pirate chasing her. Will stepped behind the pyro, and dodged a sword coming from the other, sticking it in the pyro. They looked at each other for a moment, looked at the two beside them, and took the swords from their chests to attack them again.

Barbossa chased after Jack until he stopped in a large area, turning back to fight the man behind him. Jack knocked down the pirate who stole his ship and he fell onto a rock in the moonlight, showing his skeletal form. "So what now, Jack Sparrow? Are we to be two immortals locked in an epic battle until judgement day and trumpets sound? Hm?"
