CRAM Chapter 08-Back In The Good Old Days

"Natsu, are we FRIENDS AGAIN ?"

Lucy's question made me think deeply.

Are we?

Awhile ago, we were telling stories to each other. Laughing and smiling as well.

We didn't even notice almost the whole school is looking at us.

I took a deep breath and answered, "Maybe."

"What do you mean?" What do I mean anyway?

"I... don't know. You... do you want us to be friends again?" she became silent. I know that she is thinking about it deeply.

"If it's okay with you then fine."

I shrugged, "Well, fine by me."

"Then.. we're friends," she hesitated on her answer.

I can feel a few people staring at us again, whispering to each other.

"Wow."

"Hey, were they friends back then? Lucy just said FRIENDS AGAIN, right?"

"Well, maybe yes."

"How cute!"

"Oh, now that you think about it, they'll be perfect for a couple!" Say what, a couple?! There's no way that's ever gonna happen!

"Yihee! I have a new ship!!!"

I dragged Lucy all the way to the parking lot. Well, we still have fifty more minutes before the bell rings.

"Uhm, excuse me. But where are we going?" I ignored her question.

"Nice talking," she rolled her eyes because I did not answer and let herself be dragged by me.

"Get in," I demanded. She obliged.

I drove out of our school and we reached a resto. I parked and I dragged Lucy out of my car.

We sat and I ordered our food. Well, I know her favorite food so I don't need to ask her.

"One Spaghetti, One Strawberry Shake and a Cheeseburger," I can see from my peripheral view that the waitress is drooling at me.

"Right away, sir."

"What are we doing here? We still have school, you know." she told me. Well, more like a scold. As always, she's like my mother.

"I know. But we still have forty more minutes. Besides, don't you want to eat Spaghetti and drink Strawberry Shake?"

"I want, of course."

"I brought you here because we're going to get to know each other. Again. As my friend, of course. And we'll also finalize our plan about Bickslow and Lisanna."

And while waiting for our orders to come, we gave informations about ourselves.

"I like the color Blue and Pink!" Lucy cheered.

"I love fooooood!" I exclaimed.

She smiled at me, "As always," and we laughed.

"Ma'm, Sir, here's your order." A waiter placed our plates in front of our table.
