CRAM Epilogue-From Arranged Marriage to True Marriage | Forever Happy

{Lucy's POV}

I can't believe it. It's been seven years since Natsu proposed to me. I sighed dreamily.

"Hurry up, Lu-chan! You can't make the groom wait for that long!" Levy-chan impatiently called out to me. I can tell she's really pumped up about this.

"Let's take a break from the preparations! I'm hungry!" I complained.

"But your make up will be ruined! You should've spoke up earlier!" She crossed her arms, irritated.

"Lu-chan please!" I used my puppy eyes at her which usually works whenever I need something. She froze and sighed defeatedly.

"Alright. I can't hold back with that puppy eyes of yours." She said, giving me a plastic of clubhouse sandwiches. "Hurry up. After you eat we're gonna arrange your make up again." She added. I gave her a salute and ate.

After I finished my first sandwich, I smiled. I was about to get another one when Levy grabbed my hand. I pouted like a child who wasn't given a christmas gift. "Stop eating. You're getting fat." Now that's what you call insulting. Is offending a bride makes someone happy?

She pulled me and put on my lipstick once again.

She finished, "Quick. The groom awaits you." I frowned. How can I show up in a wedding event when I'm getting self-conscious? "The fat fat thingy is a joke just to make you stop eating." She added.

I scowled and rode the car to the wedding place, Gajeel and Levy's car trailing just behind us.

*wedding bells*

"OMG! SHE'S GONNA GET MARRIED!" I heard Levy-chan squeal in delight. She can be bipolar at times. -_-

I walked through the aisle, my face covered in white veil. I can see Natsu fidgeting not far ahead, meaning he's very nervous about this.

When I reached the center of the aisle, Natsu gently grabbed my arm from father. He gave Natsu the look that meant Take-care-of-my-child-or-else-goodbye. I chuckled.

Then the ceremony began. Actually, the whole time I was lost in my thoughts. Natsu was squeezing my hands often, and his hands were all sweaty. I gave him a reassuring squeeze, smiling with my veil still on my face.

I had begun to listen to the priest and understand what he was saying somehow.

"Is there anyone who objects?" The priest inquired everybody. He made sure there was no one who interfered, then continued.

After that, it was time for the exchanging of bows and rings. I almost drooled over the beautiful ring before me—it was a golden ring with a little sapphire on it that was in a heart shape. I can't concentrate on our vows.

"...in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, 'till death do us apart." Natsu gave me the ring and grinned at me. I know he noticed that I blushed, so he grinned wider.

After the exchanging of vows, the priest said, "You may now kiss the bride." Pinky kissed me passionately, and the ones who attended our wedding clapped and had a standing ovation.

Timeskip: after 10 years...

"Mama! Papa!"

"Nashi! Quit running! You might trip in those rocks!" I scolded. Ah, it's been 10 years. Ten years since I had my true marriage with Natsu, the one I love.

"Hey, Blondie. The weather is really nice today, huh? Good thing we had a picnic." I gazed at Natsu who was eating a mouthful of salad.

"Quit eating like you haven't ate for a century." I scolded at him and ignored his nice weather thingy.

"Hahahaha!" Nashi laughed. "You two are like a cat and a dog who wouldn't get along even if they're married." She giggled.

"Well, your mom's fault. She treats me like an enemy at Clash of Clans." Natsu pouted at me with doggy eyes. I laughed. This guy, my bestfriend slash husband, never fails to make me laugh and smile everyday.

"Quit it. You're so adorable." Nashi and I both said in chorus and pinched Natsu's cheeks.

"Aw! Would you stop that?!" He complained.

"Hey guys, waited long?" Juvia waved her hand, her son with blue hair and inherited Gray's spike and his father following close behind.

"Not really." I smiled at Juvia. At least she stopped calling me her love rival.

"Nashi!"

"Koori!" Our daughter and son played with each other. Aw, would you look at that. Too adorable. I bet they'll be a great couple in the future.

"Sorry for not arriving early! Are we late?!" Erza shouted not far from us, Jellal and his daughter Kirai who has a long red hair behind her.

"You're not late. We just arrived as well." Gray smiled at Erza, grabbing a bag of potato chips.

"Yui! Gajeel! Come back here!" I saw Levy-chan chasing Gajeel and her son Yui, running around a large tree. When Yui saw Kirai, he ran towards her and held her hands, going to Nashi and Koori. That's another couple in the future too! Squeee! I'm so excited!

"What are you giggling about, Blondie?" Natsu asked. He was giving me his curious gaze.

"Nothing." I grinned and grabbed a donut glazed with chocolate and sprinkled with nuts.

"Ah, I miss being a high school student, where all of us were oblivious to our feelings." Erza chuckled. We all agreed with her.

"And the time you were still called the monster," Jellal commented, which earned him a glare from Erza.

"I'm sorry, guys. Gajeel and my son is just too playful." Levy said breathlessly, pulling Gajeel by his ears. Here comes the sadist wife and playful husband. They sat down and grabbed sandwiches.

We told some old stories of us back then. Like how Gajeel was able to see Levy-chan's underwear. I laughed pretty long about this. Levy-chan haven't told me yet about that thing! After the story part....

"From now on, we shall be here with each other and face our problems together until we die. And after that, we will be forever happy!" Levy-chan and I exclaimed, grinning. Natsu and the others cheered, which made our kids look in our way.
